This series was recommended by @Oshino Shinobu saying "It's a comedy/romance anime, kind of similar to Kaichou wa Maid-Sama in the sort of 'feeling' of the anime. Has some very funny moments and a pretty refreshing (somewhat unconventional) romance story."
 
Synopsis
The story centers around Erika Shinohara, a vain 16-year-old girl who tells her friends about her romantic exploits, but she actually has no boyfriend. She claims that a handsome boy in a candid photo is her boyfriend, but it turns out that boy is a schoolmate named Kyouya Sata. She has no choice but to make him her fake boyfriend. Unfortunately, Sata may look like a sweet person, but he is actually an ultra-black-hearted sadist. Sata takes advantage of Erika's weakness and treats her like his dog

Synopsis

Gungrave

This series was recommended by @gastew15 and @TheProfosist saying "Gungrave is an interesting one, if you skip episode 1(Which I recommend you do) it starts out with Bradon's & Harry's rise to power in a mafia group. The first half of the story is really solid, but it starts to break off from there where it's still interesting to watch, but not in the same way as it stops being realistically interesting and turns kind of absurd.. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good show, but it shifts gears pretty massively mid way through, so keep that in mind. Overall the characters are interesting and all contribute in some way to the story and make it seem much more real besides just the main characters. Even with it's flaws I really liked the show and would recommend it." and "Great yakusa/organised crime anime. But skip the first ep."
 
Synopsis
After a tragic scene with the murder of his friends, Brandon Heat follows his only friend Harry McDowel into Millennion, the largest mafia syndicate. Synopsis
Satou Tatsuhiro, a 22 year old young man, is a NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and a hikikomori (meaning acute social withdrawal). He believes everything around him is a conspiracy, including the reason why many people, himself included, become hikikomori. Due to this, Satou creates a strange conspiracy theory which includes the Nihon Hikikomori Kyōkai (NHK), a secret organization with the intention of producing a hikikomori filled world. Satou intends to break free from the NHK's clutches, but cannot, since he finds it too frightening to go outdoors by himself; that is, until he meets Misaki Nakahara, who selects Satou for her "project" that she claims will cure him of his hikikomori ways.

I'm partway through the manga (I've watched the anime), It goes further than the anime does, and is still publishing. Worth picking up if you liked the anime. 

 

I'm also starting to read Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei for the same reason.

Selecting between the last four of these is impossible. They should all be watched, and the only question is in which order. You'd be hard pressed to call yourself an anime fan if you haven't seen Jojo and NHK. It would be like calling yourself a film buff and having never seen Citizen Kane (though they're not quite on that level of art of course). Gungrave is a classic, and Rainbow is quite atypical and interesting. By contrast Wolf Girl is simply the newest one.

@BashZeStampeedo Is the Welcome to the NHK manga different from the anime at all? Because, as unpopular as my opinion may be, I didn't find the manga that interesting.
