You can't use DDR4 with AM5. You want DDR5-6000 CL30 for these AM5 builds.

Is this your current build or planned build? If it's your planned build please consider getting a cpu that isn't 7 generations old

If you're building a Nas then a single 2tb drive should be enough

Afaik city skylines is mainly cpu based so a 7900x would be great here

(This is overkill so you can change to your discretion to something like a 7800 or 7700 if desired)

Consider something like this.

200 dollars cheaper for a significant boost is performance.

I would definitely take a closer look at some of the builds above. The GPU you've chosen isn't particularly a good buy. Something like a 6700XT would be better in that price range.

I would personally switch to an AM5 CPU/Mobo combo (Microcenter has deals if you're close), something like a R7 7700/B650 combo. That would allow you to get a better GPU.

Desktop: i7-5820K, SLI GTX 980 Ti, 16GB 2666MHz, H440

Laptop: Razer Blade 2015 QHD
