  1. It's not bad, it's also IPS, but it doesn't have DVI... You could still use HDMI, but i think it's better to have DVI
  2. Remember to follow your topics and quote members whose help you want Try THIS, it's not that expensive, and looking at the specs, it's a great monitor
  3. Remember to follow your topics and quote members whose help you want I agree with @Archangel1994 I also suggest you get new DDR3 RAM, something faster.. Spare a little bit more money, and buy 8Gb of RAM (can be a singe stick), and some cheap, reliable, 500W PSU
  4. I also saw it, quite a good gesture :) Thumbs up @Slick :)
  5. The only phones that i know of that fit into this criteria are: Note 4 and S5 LTE-A.... But i suggest you don't go with 1440p screen, on phones it's pretty unneeded... I'd rather have a bigger battery EDIT: Nexus has a 13Mpx camera, not 16.... Also, Nexus 6 is not that cheaper... It has a full flagship price... 650$ i think....
  6. I don't know about US (like i said, i don't live there), but it's usually cheaper in store. Or he can just order something specific to a specific store, and just go to the store to pick it up I think that about that, you should talk it out with him.
  7. I'd love to explain it to you, but my brain is starting to shut down... It's 2Am here, and i'm tired like a log... Try our good friend, Google https://www.google.rs/search?q=is+more+ram+beneficial+for+rendering&oq=is+more+ram+beneficial+for+rendering&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i64.5947j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8#q=why+is+more+ram+better+for+rendering To shorten it, if you're rendering a scene with lots and lots of detail, more ram is better, if you don't have enough of it, then your computer will start using parts of your HDD/SSD for memory.... That's the gist of it... Goodnight
  8. Yeah, a good choice The one i had was as durable as it gets, and it was made from plastic... Oh how i miss it... Maybe i'll get it back and try to fix it (don't believe it'll work, but i can try, can i?), who knows
  9. Fixed it PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($309.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($89.78 @ OutletPC) Memory: Kingston Fury Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($73.68 @ OutletPC) Storage: Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($69.93 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card ($194.99 @ NCIX US) Case: BitFenix Comrade ATX Mid Tower Case ($63.48 @ Newegg) Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($39.99 @ Newegg) Monitor: LG 22M35D 60Hz 22.0" Monitor ($89.99 @ NCIX US) Total: $981.82 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-11-09 19:43 EST-0500 Just add another stick, or three, when you have the money, that's why i went with 1 stick 8Gb Also, if you can, go with this, it goes a wee bit over your budget I never used them, but i read ONE good review...
  10. I remember reading on Overclockers. net (not sure), that MSI and STRIX are pretty similar. Only that Strix is quieter, but has less OC'ing potential (something to do with the number of pins, can't remember), and that TwinFrozr V is a little bit noisier, but has a little big more OC'in potential (also something to do with the pins)... The conclusions was that G1 Gaming is/was the best (out of those three)
  11. One thing i learned on this forum about laptops... When you don't know what to choose, look at Lenovo.... Oddly enough it works. I had Lenovo 3000 N100... It only broke 2 years ago, when i "accidentally" banged on it and fried it's Mobo... It was such a great laptop... And i got it as a gift almost as soon as it was released
  12. Try this : You have a decent card, and great CPU/GPU for gaming I only suggest on buying an aftermarket cooler later and OC'ing this bad boy PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($309.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($89.78 @ OutletPC) Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($82.99 @ Micro Center) Storage: Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($69.93 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card ($194.99 @ NCIX US) Case: BitFenix Comrade ATX Mid Tower Case ($63.48 @ Newegg) Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($39.99 @ Newegg) Monitor: LG 22M35D 60Hz 22.0" Monitor ($89.99 @ NCIX US) Total: $991.13 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-11-09 19:13 EST-0500 EDIT: Oh shit... I forgot to add the keyboard.... Well, you can choose that yourself... I think that powerful components are your main concern at the moment
  13. I don't know if anybody suggested this, but: Kaze no Stigma It's a very good anime, originally an LN, but sadly the author passed away in 2009, so LN was never finished I find that this anime is quite entertaining and fun to watch. It has 24 episodes ANN MAL
  14. Hoo, i don't know if i'm a part of AHS... I posted there though... As for the last rule...I started watching Bakemonogatari, never finished it... I watched Hyouka (while it was airing), and i'm somewhat familiar with S&W (still waiting for LN, i refuse to watch the anime until i read that LN)
