The pixel smasher - Mi Mix Alpha launched + Mi 9 Pro release
mosin40 replied to williamcll's topic in Tech News
The back side has a "contextual interface" that uses its AI and it analyzes what we're doing -
Ooof, looking great so far I think top i/o looks better, needs a usb type-c tho

Oh i see, still 4TB SSD are expensive af, unless i do three 2TB 2.5" HDDs and raid0 them.
-
Will it be possible to fit at least one 3.5" HDD? I kinda want to have a 10TB HDD just for mass storage and don't want to rely on external drives. (i'm too lazy to do a nas) Looking forward for that case since i want to down size and thinking on making a custom loop inside of it
-
Yeah, it's in a reboot loop Also tried shorthing those pins, left it overnight without the battery, and still in a reboot loop with no bios splash screen. Monitor is displaying 'no signal'

Just a little background info, was trying to overclock my ryzen cpu (anything below 3.6 GHz), set ram to 2933 MHz and it booted, restarted the pc and it wouldn't boot to the os. So i decide to just try with ram and no oc, boots into windows, crashed and after that no post at all. I tried removing the battery to clear cmos, unplugging connectors, reseated ram and even reinstalling the cpu... Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Motherboard: Asus Strix x370-f Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Graphics Card: Gtx 970 g1 gaming Storage: 500GB 850evo, 4tb WD Blue PSU: Evga G2 650w Case: Nztx s340 I'm trying to see if the issue is either ram, cpu, or motherboard Any form of help will be appreciated.

Yeah Also with smash melee at 480hz and 540p would look buttery smooth (i think 540p is melee's native res)

2133mhz + oc vs 3200mhz for ryzen pc
mosin40 replied to mosin40's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I'll be using pc for both gaming and working and i'm already capping 8GB Since i'm studying engineering (electronic), i'll be doing some CAD work (mostly pcbs and similar stuff) -
2133mhz + oc vs 3200mhz for ryzen pc
mosin40 replied to mosin40's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Well not much... I could go with 16GB... but I just want to future proof so i won't need to buy a 32GB kit and then sell the 16GB -
2133mhz + oc vs 3200mhz for ryzen pc
mosin40 replied to mosin40's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
i know that, my concern is mostly due to price and i don't want to spend more than 250$ just solely for ram -
So i'm going to build a ryzen itx pc, and i'm thinking on getting a 32gb kit (2x16gb). My question is if i should go with low speed ram (2133mhz) and overclock it or go with high speed ram (3200mhz) I know ram is expensive, and i'm trying to get the best bang for buck
