I just got Crunchy Roll and curious what anime you guys would suggest? I've seen most of the "main stream" ones. I love short anime series, like 20 or so episodes.

I just started watching "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?", as stupid as the title is, it is actually pretty good. Also started watching "World Trigger". I'm enjoying both.

This is a great series. It's english name is very stupid, but it's a great series nontheless :D

I don't know if these are on Crunchy Roll, but here it goes. This is a very small and incomplete list since i can't remember all of them, but i think that all of these are good :)

 

Golden Time - Good anime

Ore Monogatari - Good manga, anime should be as good

Bakuman - Manga rules, i also heard anime rules. You can't check this weeks discussion thread for it :)

Ah! My Goddess - My favorite manga, anime is very nicely done

Oregairu and Oregairu Zoku (2nd season of Oregairu) - A very good series

Suisei no Gargantia - I liked it, it has mecha

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - Anime is quite nice, but don't bother reading the LN's (Light Novels)

K anime - I liked it. It's not as good as the rest on this list, and it's a bit shoujo-ish (too many cute males), but it's still decent.

Kaze no Stigma - So far my favorite anime. It has obvious flaws, but it just drew me in, something not many anime's can do nowadays...

Shingeki no Kyojin - I read the manga. It's definitely not as good as it was hyped, but it's still good. Don't expect much going into it and it'll end up good 

 

 

There's a lot more, but this should keep you busy for a while :D

Pyscho pass is on netflix and that was SO good. I with crunchy roll had gundam :(

No Game No Life - 2 NEET in a strange world where Games are all that matters.
Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? - Good laughs. Poor Kuro-usagi...
HENNEKO – The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat - - Be careful what you wish for...Mostly Comedic.

The Irregular at Magic High School - Magic stuff, OP main character, kind of serious, not much comedy, if at all.
Angel Beats - Great story, prepare the floodgates.
Sunday Without God - Not at all a religious anime.

My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong As I Expected - First season is done and the second season is ongoing, currently at episode 6.

Log Horizon - Kinda mainstream so you may have seen it. Similar to Sword Art Online, without the "bait and switch"

 

Overall all of these have a pretty good storyline (except maybe HENNEKO, which is mostly just for laughs)

I know you said you've seen most mainstream ones, but I thought I'd still throw One Piece out there. Really great story, characters are amazing and I've been following it since last year with no disappointments yet.

 

The only short Anime I can recommend is Rolling Girls, loved the art style and the fight scenes were amazing, but it isn't on Crunchy Roll as far as I can tell.

 

Also I'd suggest if you're watching something like Naruto/Shippuden or One Piece, I'd highly recommend you find a filler list(http://www.animefillerlist.com/) and skip the filler episodes. The filler episodes in One Piece are pretty decent and fun to watch, but the filler episodes in Naruto and Shippuden are just crap and not worth it.

Mononoke Hime is pretty popular for those with a critical taste, on that note why not visit some classics like Ghose in the Shell?

I can't understand what my Husband is saying is a pretty good show, really short episodes, like 4 minutes.

Nisekoi is generic romcom stuff, but well done, I enjoy it.

Bakemonogatari is pretty good.

Food Wars is the best thing ever, currently airing.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU is one of my favorites.

I also like Nanana's Buried Treasure.

Beyond the Boundary:(Subs only) I would describe this as a romantic, action, comedy that is beautiful to look at, it's not super sad but at times it can pull at your heart strings.
 
Strike the Blood: (Subs Only) This is a campy B movie of anime, it's awful and shameless in a comedic sort of self conscious way
 
Toradora: (Subs and Dubs) This is your basic romantic comedy anime that I have trouble distinguishing between it, Haganai, and My teen romantic comedy snafu from memory but they are all good and fun and alittle heart felt at times. 
 
Oreimo: (Subs Only) This is hard for me to remember but I remember liking it and I just got excited right now that I've seen a second season has come out, but essentially this guys little sister is really into geek culture but keeps it in the closet because its unpopular, she opens up to her brother and hyjinx ensue, it works pretty good as a comedy.
