why cant linus do exclusive videos for his paid weivers?

why this i mean videos would be exclusive for these who pay that youtube channel join thing.all videos would exculsive for only theys member who have Become a channel member ....videos would show no sponsors,adverts or linus merch bs stuff..

would such thing be possible and would u willing to pay for it

Are you aware of Floatplane or is this just a silly joke?
Floatplane is a paid platform, where videos are released earlier, where there are no ads and there is some exclusive content too.

Im pretty sure everything you are describing is a part of their floatplane. Its a separate platform that Linus owns and has a number of creators (including ltt and bitwit) which do extra things for their paying viewers.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

How do you decide? He probably has at least 500,000 YouTube members, maybe even 1 million.

Is it a roulette? Is it a "choose-the-magic-number"?

There is NO point in doing that unless you want to give money to LTT with nothing in return. Why should they take an EXISTING service they already have and fork it over to YouTube when the entire point of Floatplane is to get away from YouTube?

Yes, I read OP's post too.

I'm merely saying they have this already, it's Floatplane. Plus, YouTube doesn't take a cut from that income (which Linus has said multiple times to people; don't become a YouTube member, join Floatplane).

Don't get a membership on Youtube, subscribe on Floatplane.

The only reason to be a member on youtube, is if you want to casually support them with small payments every month without getting any of value back from paying.

 

On floatplane you get exclusives like BTS and what not.

FP videos have sponsored content and LTTStore spots. And funny cuts with Linus doing segway to ad spot.

No, I wouldn't, if I was going to support them I'd buy some merch as then I'm at least getting something tangible in return.

I don't really like the majority of their content enough to pay money for it. I watch maybe half of it, but I wouldn't search it out. It's just because it's there in the feed.

The builds for staff members, secret shopper, and ROG stuff is interesting and enjoyable. The odd builds and over the top hardware isn't my bag.

Nor is the huge influx of MSI sponsored content.

1. Floatplane exists and has come very far since its inception.

2. This is internet and no matter how secure your vault is, stuff gets leaked/pirated anyway.

That idea is discriminatory in nature,it will leave bad taste in the mouths of those who view in-video ads instead of paying.

YouTube double Ads (before, after, and in the middle of videos) +2 x LTT sponsor spots + LTT store ad shoehorned in + Content that's not available for them.

 

That's a pretty big blow to be honest. Yea it still doesn't cost people a cent, but still a bit to endure.

For the record they also do exclusive videos on Floatplane. Mostly behind the scenes. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
