  1. You can easily counter this by reducing fan intake speeds; this gives you the benefit of keeping similar airflow from less fans spinning faster, but at a lower noise level. Natural heat convection is overwhelmingly negated by mechanically forced air. https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Vertical-vs-Horizontal-Case-Cooling-89/page3

  3. Unpopular opinion:

Lightning connectors are the equivalent of the Imperial measurement system; We really should give it up and just make life so much easier but people are too die hard.

      ...well this is awkward... again.

@TVwazhere It's Apple taking "form over function" a little too far.  Why are they doing it?

      1. Lightning connector is a little bit smaller than a USB-C connector.

      2. Lightning connector is proprietary while USB-C isn't, so they have financial incentive to milk Lightning while they still can.

      Sorry Mister Moderator Sir 😞

  4. I grabbed both because they are free. She only way to beat free is if you pay me
  5. Currently you do have a badge for the Official Folding Event for 2020, however it does not appear you have participated in any other Eligible event (Eligible events happen once a year, around the same time in Oct-Nov) Many smaller events happen periodically through the year (including the one that's about to conclude today) but these events are NOT eligible for F@H event badges ands Badge advancements.
  6. It's an alright deal https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B088T2KNZ4 I've used OLOY RAM before. Its still true; brand of the RAM matters less than the listed stats and in some cases specific memory dies used (if you're going for intense OC). It's usually not terrible to set a PCPP link to a parametric filter based on the qty, speed and number of sticks you need for cheap ram. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/memory/#Z=16384002&U=4&S=3200,3600&sort=price&page=1 As of the time of writing, pay $1 more and you can get 3600, thou
  7. You set yourself up for that by saying "contributions may be considered" as if I choose if you get it, and not based on actual data. My favorite request though (trying to not go too far off topic) was:
  8. Fractla Design Focus G might also work for you, but the window might be a bit bigger than you're looking for.
  9. According to @LAR_Systems's database, 1080ti's average 1.8-2M PPD, 6900XT's are more like 2.6m (someones getting 3.9M PPD on linux???) https://folding.lar.systems/gpu_ppd/brands/amd/folding_profile/navi_21_radeon_rx_6900_xt
  10. I am not aware of any release date for the case, sorry
  11. Note that the ARGB controller seems to be a failing point according to reviews http://amazon.com/gp/product/B01CHGZL94?ref=em_1p_5_ti&ref_=pe_3811290_604078850 Fully vented front panel GPU Max length: 340 CPU Cooler Max height: 160mm Up to 280 or360 RAD at front Three 2.5" SSD, Two 3.5" HDD Hinged Tempered glass door Fans are most likely 3 pin but DO work with motherboard software's, just plug them in directly or use a different ARGB controller. If you dont have prime, it is available on Newegg for $80, Shipping appears to
  12. This might be the most* accurate depiction of  airflow I've ever seen in a case (forgoing for a second the fact that there's no CPU and GPU)
