Motherboard started making a super high pitched noise. How's this up/side grade?

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I use it for all PC stuff, some video encoding, and a wide variety of games. No high FPS competitive stuff.

Going to buy these, recycle the board and sell the RAM..

 

MSI MAG B760M MORTAR WIFI II Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard    $244.99 

Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory    $144.99

ASRock Challenger OC Radeon RX 7900 GRE 16 GB Video Card    $739.99    Prob go with a better version of the card, if I can when I buy.

 

Anything I'm overlooking? Or anything that would work better for around the same amount of Loonies?  Better bang for the buck out there?

6000 CL30 is the same price, B760 could be little cheaper

how's performance with this? 2080 ti is quite a good card so I'd keep it for now if there are no problems

Thanks.. didn't notice the higher latency. I try to stay with small mATX cases. So that's all I have 

 

As far as the RAM . .you are right. I just kind of want to have DDR5. Just because. LOL

 

The 2080 has been such a great card. Way overkill for what I played when i bought it (1080/60). Still going great now. Even ran Snorefeild at quite high settings 14440p/60. 

 

I may just buy a DDR4 board and see how far i can go with this 2080 Ti, heh. I kind of wanted something with resizable bar. Which led me to "why not DDR5." Then, "why not a new GPU!" heh

haha, i get exactly what your saying, new gpu is understandable, but ddr5 is about a ~5% increase in gaming performance
