COVID-19 - READ THE RULES BEFORE REPLYING

Still no app for Android for the vaccine passport.

Apparently Staples stores are overworked with non-techies who want to have their printed proof plastified.

Either they're bigger than they were or informed people have given up. It's probably the 2nd.

Truth be told, I’ve turned off the Covid-19 exposure app on my iPhone because it’s a little bit of a battery hog.

Well my government already knew my biometric data from election registration, passport, driver’s license, and postal registration. The Covid exposure system that we have doesn’t really concerns me because the app doesn’t collect personally identifiable data if you’re negative. Should someone test positive, they have to input their test number into the app to notify everyone that has came in contact with that patient. The only problem I have is that it’s a battery hogging app in the background.

The thing is, just like freedom of speech isn’t absolute, and so is right to privacy. One can say fuck you to the president’s face but can’t yell “fire” in an open theater, or scream “there’s a bomb” in an airport. One can practice whatever religion they want, but is not allowed to perform human sacrifices. Doctors are bound by privacy laws to protect patient records, but there are exemptions like in an epidemic/pandemic. The same reason that lying on a Covid declaration form is a punishable offense, at least here in my country. Not sure about US or Canada’s stance on people lying on health declaration forms.

Here like 0,001% of people used it correctly, making it essentially useless.

even to know will be difficult, while studies are one thing. As it goes without saying, you can do a lot of chemical things without knowing, even if its a known drug to be used in certain situations etc. Always seek a doctor before starting something, as of mixing different "medical"/chemical reactions or is incompatible in use with each other. To things like not eating or drinking certain stuff when taking it, either it being alcohol or other things for certain medical components.

As it can be very easy in the way of drugs today, to take a lot more and mixing or using it when you shouldn't. Some that can prove fatal.

Please, don't take horse dewormer to cure COVID. Yes the active ingredient can be prescribed to people, but those tubes are for horses. For the non Americans here, 1 tube works for 453 kg of horse, not a 91kg person...

We actually had a government official condoning this..

Quote

Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor Charlie Pierce Pierce has twice defended use of the drug, first at last week’s borough meeting and on Monday during a radio show on KSRM radio.

“Call it creative medicine. Call it what you want. I call it saving lives,” Pierce said during the “Sound Off” program Monday. “Here’s where I’m at. I think there’s hearts and heads here at the table and we’re making decisions about them and what I would want my doctor to do is to look at all options across the spectrum and look at the research that’s been done.”

He also called ivermectin “very inexpensive” and touted it as an alternative to vaccination.

It seems like all this started because the FDA does have it approved for some treatments and seem to be looking at it as a therapeutic medicine for COVID, but no where near those doses and it hasn't been tested that much to confirm or deny.

Seems like it's similar to toilet paper. One person heard a rumor that it might work and thanks to social media we now have people taking 10x what is prescribed for horses by weight and many many times what is actually prescribed for treatment of two types of worms we can get.

The guy contacted the government to point out flaws and help them out in exchange for immunity regarding the hacks, they publicly say they'll work with him, but in the backstage they opened an investigation with the provincial police ... WTF ???

Now that it's public there are flaws, who do you think will start poking holes in there? Not white hat hackers, I can tell you that.

I've seen a post on a sub that's promoting ivermectin for COVID as a treatment, and they unironically posted links to the FDA's website about ivermectin being approved, while a few paragraphs down, blasting the vaccine even though it's approved by the FDA (the post was made after the FDA approved the vaccine, yes, and they recognize that it was, but somehow that's not relevant because the FDA are shills and will make a lot of mistakes approving drugs ... Not kidding). It's puzzling how much doublespeak these guys are spouting.

Fun with the Masks, there are PLENTY studies that show how much they can remove of infection during f.ex. an operation of a patient (IF YOU ALSO WASH YOUR HANDS) ,

i really hate that Danish scientists did a Mask examination early one, that were used in the "masks are not effective discussion" but nobody really read the analysis they only focused on the "conclusion" and the conclusion where right.

but the test where not to se how little you spread the virus, the test was to see if a mask protected the MASK WEARER from a virus, and no of course it does not.. a mask is the contain the virus in you, so it protects people around you..

so the study had 2 groups of people one that wore masks and one that did not, and then measure the amount of people infected after a while..

the real test should have been to have 2 rooms with 100 people in each, have a mask wearer go into one room with covid stay there for 10 minutes leave, and the same without a mask in another room, and just do this over and over, and see how many of the 100 got the virus. but that is an extremely hard study to do. to check the spread.

if the correct N95 mask is worn, and the correct countermeasures are done, it has a purpose, it has had for many many years in a lot of areas, be it medical or food production or others..

it is also fun to see how good people have been in their own room to protect them selves when one is infected, I have had so many collegues that had a son or a daughter with infection, that with washing things correctly, keeping distance, using mask could actually be with there son/daughter in the same house without any spreading of virus, more the norm that actually the other thing happening that all gets infected.

Fun with the Masks, there are PLENTY studies that show how much they can remove of infection during f.ex. an operation of a patient (IF YOU ALSO WASH YOUR HANDS)
