Hi, I'm decently new to this forum but I do have some tips. 1. I see that you have a 1tb SSD and a 4tb hard drive, I'm presuming you are just using the HDD for raw storage and will boot Windows off the SSD. If so, for the price you can get a 7200 rpm hard drive for less and get the same amount of storage.  2. Instead of getting the same fan multiple times, you can get a good fan pack for less than the cost of 2 of your fans. 3. For a $2300 dollar build, you should be getting a better cooler because the one you have selected now is a budget option instead of a mid-range option that your computer most likely should have.

Good luck on your endeavors, Sincerely, Coolbean28

Go big on your SSD. You can always add more storage later on. You want DDR5-6000 CL30 for these AM5 builds.

Ah ok thanks for the advice, with the ram I've read some stuff online that the most that the 7000 series CPUs can handle is 5200 MHz, is that true? Also how much does having CL30 vs CL40 matter

5200mhz is what those chips natively support. DDR5-6000 is what gets the most out of those cpu's. CL30 because games benefit from low latency.

ah ok I see, does anything need to be overclocked to do that or is it just plug and play?

Don't o/c anything. Just plug & play. With that said I posted a review of the 7600 (non X) which is less expensive and runs cooler seeing how it uses less juice. You have a $230 ATX 3.0 psu for a gpu that doesn't use a PCIe 5.0. Throw in the $57 in fans and I can easily see a few kinks in that build. That case requires one 120mm exhaust fan and you're good.

oh ok i think i get what you mean, I'm not quite sure about the GPU thing you talked about though. how does that affect the PC and how would I fix it?

ok ignoring the price of the psu since i want something that I know for a fact will be reliable, do you think there is anything else that could be improved?

sorry, you're not really explaining very well and don't really understand what you're trying to tell me. I get that the MSI PSU is cheaper but I want the Seasonic one since I know it's reliable, the 7600 over 7600x seems a bit silly since the 7600x isn't that much extra and its got way better clock speed

It's a two FPS difference while running cooler.

this will definitely not handle the 7600X

get a 7600 instead (or a 7500F if you don't need the iGPU) as they both get the same performance as the 7600X but are easier to cool and draw less power

clock speed isn't everything, IPC gains also matter a lot

LTT even made a video about it

And as@Why_Me the performance is basically the same

I promise MSI will be nearly just as reliable, it's still got a long warranty and it's a great psu

why spend so much on a case when one that's just as good (and looks better IMO) can be had for nearly $100 less? Thermaltake S200 TG ARGB ATX Mid Tower Case (CA-1X2-00M6WN-00) - PCPartPicker

if you get an MATX B650 gaming plus wifi you can save around $150 and get the same experience (in a smaller package as well)
