Sure 2 minutes charge lasts 9 hours, but.......wow....

I have no words. First a laptop that not only was smaller than the air line and removed the magsafe connector and can't be charged and use a wired peripheral at the same time without adapters, now a mouse you can't use while charging.

What's next? An Imac that's curved backwards that you can only use in a mirror?

Don't worry guys. I am sure there will be some adapter thing you can purchase separately to set this thing on, that will have a cord in the front of that (also purchased separately) for it to work like a normal mouse.  :unsure:

If they didn't use bluetooth the OG wireless KB and magic mouse would last more than a week and last a decade on leaking AA's like every other wireless peripheral

Not really. The lip doesn't need to go down that far. Even with my long fingers it would work fine with a face there.

Physically it's no different than the MM 1, which was probably one of the worst mice I've ever used. I use mac with a full usb mac keyboard (pretty nice) and a different mouse

They could have made physical changes, allowing for a top charge port. Mouse needed a redesign anyway

B. Last time I used rechargeable batteries, they did not last very long.

C. When you can't find the said batteries, it gets more frustrating then plugging in a single wire

D. I would still have to charge the said batteries, so what is the difference between charging it directly to the mouse and charging the batteries that are going to be placed into a mouse.

B. Whenever I used battery powered wireless KB or Mouse, whenever it is from Logitech or Microsoft, it died within a month, two if I am lucky. 

 

If it was on the front you could use it as a wired mouse while charging.

I agree that its terrible to use, but Im sure that some people do like it. I can see it being good for basic web browsing, but anything more demanding its unusable. However if for example, my func MS-3 was wireless and had a a quick charge usb-c port on the bottom, I wouldnt have a single issue, and I'm sure most people would agree. decade is obviously (I said 100 years on reddit) but my logitech wireless laptop mouse I used daily lasted for at least 3 years then I left it somewhere. I always turned it off though, if it moves around in you laptop bag it uses power. Not everyone does that. 

I need to get another one of those, bit small for my hand but worked really well for me.
