Can Linus (and everyone else) please stop with the 69 jokes

LTT maintains itself as family friendly and yet I keep seeing this reference. It got to the point where I thought maybe I was out of the loop and 69 means something else to the kids. But nope it means exactly what I think it means. It's such a vulgar thing to mention in videos watched by so many children.

 

It's unbelievably ironic that in the latest LTT video they censored the word "porn" and then a few seconds later they make a 69 joke. How does this even make sense.

I don't recall them ever announcing that they were a family friendly channel. In fact, I seem to remember seeing a few videos where it's clear that they're not (ex. Linus making dirty bed jokes, and breaking the one guy's bed by jumping on it... Not exactly dirty, but not exactly a kid friendly video either). Youtube has made tighter restrictions on videos in recent years, and channels only comply as much as they can (without sacrificing content) so that they can still get monetized.

Yeah, I wouldn't consider them family friendly. They aren't horrible but they have a few things every once in a while.

I personally don't object to the meme on the basis that LTT should be family friendly. They clearly aren't, they had an OnlyFans account, after all. No, the reason I'm not much of a fan is because at this point it's like beating a dead horse. It's entirely predictable and always feels forced when it happens, therefore it's boring.

Yeah, not going to happen. LTT has never been really serious and being goofy together with factual seems to appeal to their core audience, teens and young adults.

 

Adding that LTT is fairly minor with these when you take a look at streamers. The amount of "yo momma", "deez nuts" and penis jokes has been ongoing trend for two whole years. The core problem is that every year more kids turn into edgy teens who all have same jokes over and over again. (just like locally we get more and more people telling army stories...)
