hmm... I find Tesla P4's to be amazing little cards.  Having 60W of power consumption yet they generate >800,000 PPD. Like them, wish I had more than two of those..

I don't think the 1660 Ti in my main rig is too happy with me right now. I'm running F@h on full power, I've been using some graphically intensive programs, and to top it all off it's rendering dual 1440p monitors that are being streamed over the network to another computer. That's a lot for one little GPU to handle, but amazingly F@h doesn't seem to care.

Yay, today was hell and back, woke up to no hot water (pilot out), coming back from work everything was delayed...

On the plus side my gpu temps are down and my points are up  Tho my PPD has dropped by about 200K, but I can live with that... Till I fix my hot water tank maybe I should use my GPU as a hot water source  Then again, the Corsair product lineup would probably blow up...

What's this updating thing you speak of?

well with the temp the gpu runs at you will need some icewater mixed with the hotwater boiling water to make it useable...

 

the update thing is something i do when not folding so one can play video games properly...then again my Nvidia drivers where fully uptodate before i went to the linux side of things

I guess it's time to beg the wife into turning her rig into a heater when idle.. needa make up for lost time! So far nothing's broken aside from F@H servers getting slammed. Maybe I'll scrounge around and see if I have a forgotten GPU kicking in a bin somewhere.

Yea they are amazing, had a server with 8 of them on loan and ran them on F@H to see how good they were and the ~800k was a lot more than I was expecting for a GPU with no PCIe external power!

My 1660Ti mobile does something like that, too. 60 something watts and a range between 800-950k PPD

Freezer is full of meat and other stuff, no room for ice, I could move the computer next to the heater but I don't think that'll help the computer much as the furnace is next to the heater (why I can at least wash my hands with warm water)  I can always throw the computer outside... It's chugging along at 80C, might even turn on CPU as well to make up the point loss.

 

Yea, that's the only time I update my drivers is when a game breaks lol. I really, really, really hate looking at the windows loading screen and login  Plus the hassle of reloading everything.

I’ve been playing Diablo 1 evenings lately, folding doesn’t care too much. I really need to change over to the better AMD folding drivers, I’m using the better part of 800 watts for my paltry contribution between my two rigs

when playing CS go my WU go to around 700k and csgo FPS to around 150ish

 

i say it effects my game as usually get 300+fps and i ant play with lower FPS as im a pro lol

so  amd driver did not install update like they where suppose to.. so had 3 gpu doing zero folding for a day.
