  1. Either the Corsair HXi/HX or the be quiet Dark Power Pro 12
  2. Thread locked. Please don't make pointless posts such as fantasy builds and dream builds. The New Builds & Planning section is for serious questions about building PCs, not for showing off random PC Part Picker lists you come up with.
  3. May as well have kept the thermaltake PSU. The CX450 lacks the PCIe connectors required for their graphics card.
  4. Gotcha! Just stood out as an odd choice, but makes sense if you already have the drives. The EVGA BQ 600W is currently on sale on Newegg for $50, for the PSU it's a pretty good price. 500W would be fine for your build but with the sale the 600W is cheaper than the 500W unit.
  5. The only 430W power supplies I can think of are absolutely awful. EVGA W1 430W, Thermaltake Litepower 430W, Thermaltake Smart 430W. None of them I would recommend. Spending $83 on three 500GB HDDs is a pretty bad deal. You can buy a 2TB drive for $50.
  6. Which 850W PSU do you currently have? 850W should be plenty for a 5900X + 6900XT, but depending on how far you've overclocked it who knows. The system shuts down?
  7. Well, it's posted on Bitdefenders website. You don't need to do much digging to know that it was written by someone at Bitdefender. Bitdefender posts blogs about personal data breaches on their site because they sell a service to tell you if you were involved in the breach, there's an advertisement for their identity protection tool in the post. Bitdefenders blog post is based on this article reported by Hackread. https://www.hackread.com/hacker-dumps-household-records-of-americans/
  8. Remove the CPU socket cover and take a photo of the socket pins. They claim damaged pins, which could explain the memory issue you were having. Is there thermal paste in the socket? AGP card was not installed properly?
  9. If you started the PM you can edit the first message in the PM chain to change the subject title.
  10. To say that someone is redpilled means that they are aware of something, usually referring to political statements. It comes from the Matrix where Neo is given an option between taking a blue pill where he remains ignorant and goes on living his life like a sheep, or he can take the red pill and discover the world is not what it seems and learn the truth. Those that are "red pilled" are those who people consider to see past the bullshit and see 'the truth' (though this is often a term used in reference to political opinions, so 'the truth' can be subjective) In this context to say
  11. Moved to General Discussion. This is about payment processing and financial institutions, not technology. Leave politics out of the discussion. Tech News means news regarding technology or gaming. Please don't post topics in this forum that don't have a strong relation to technology/games.
  12. Oh, it wasn't actually Crunchy who locked this. To the person who locked this thread, I see you.
  13. If it was for an unusual case maybe you should have started with that and provided context instead of just asking for the definition of the word. Though I'm the context you provided it seems like they were calling them based sarcastically. Like sarcastically saying "wow you're sooo edgy"
  14. You can't outrun the forearm of the law.
