I think we all live on a curve in some way or another in life.

You got to give them credit though they may be slightly slow in the head on this but at least they are trying.

You wouldn't believe how many people I see in convenience stores and other public places not wearing a mask.

Who look around with attitude like we are all stupid for wearing them. 

 

I try to remind myself to be patient with people in general because I'm self aware enough to know that as much as I'd like to be.

I'm not at the top end of that curve either lol.

Here's a work related one. Customer's that prolong a resolution by wasting both our time.

 

I'm sorry, but I don't care if you waited in queue over 30 mins if you're going to waste time complaining at the beginning. Ranting about it for 10+ minutes before we get started isn't getting us to point B any quicker. Also not interested in off topics like how your grandkids know more about tech than you do. You called about a bill, stick to the subject.

Yeah it's still the same than one store page before.

Mid thirties Isnt old, but it is the point where one is no longer young.  In German there are three age ranges rather than two.  Or four rather than three perhaps. Kind, junger, Mann, eltern.  In ones mid thirties junger no longer fits.

I remember thinking my teachers were incredibly old when I was a kid.  They were probably in their 20’s.  I’m in my early 50’s.  For here I’m old.  My body is breaking down faster than it should. I doubt I’ll see 70.  For a 70 year old person I’m absurdly young though.

Saw a near miss this morning because of this. We have lots of bus reserved lane in the city, but near intersection, that lane isn't reserved anymore. You still see people making turns from the middle lane.

 

And this morning, the middle lane was bumper to bumper full and the reserved lane was empty, and someone made a turn from the middle lane, just as a bus was traveling down the reserved lane, so an idiot on 2 points ; not using the turning lane (because at that point, it's not a reserved lane anymore) and not looking if the lane was free of traffic. Thankfully, the bus wasn't traveling fast and hard braking (poor passengers) avoided a t-bone collision.

Had a call earlier that reassures why I prefer animals to people.

 

Lady called in angry she is missing voicemails because we "turned it off again" -- something I assure you isn't a thing. I go to check her line and voicemail feature is active, shocker. So I call her on line 2 and sure enough, the thing she was adamant wasn't the problem turned out to be the problem. Voicemail is full..she then starts getting argumentative and rude about it. Wanting to escalate about it when I figured her problem out. She said she wanted to speak to someone else, so I released the call. She's not going to waste my time or my supervisors time when I have others in queue needing assistance.

I can agree with that - frankly half the time people complaining about "snowflakes" sure sound like snowflakes themselves when they're doing it.
