  1. Love the older audio aesthetic @CommanderAlex Just bought the 32gb version of that kit in white for $129. Ram prices are so much better currently.
  2. For less than what 5800x's are currently selling for, I got a 10700ka + Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Elite AC so there's that.
  3. Lol, when I was 16 the family pc (ie not mine and shared) was a pos HP with a Pentium 4 with 512mb of ram. I would have been super excited at that age if someone were to have gotten me a new game or 50 - 100 bucks if I'm being real.
  4. Who honestly cares if Linus talks about the M1 or not? If someone wants Apple centric content, go to Macrumors.
  5. Samsung S20 with a Korone wallpaper
  6. Is there anything technically wrong with buying a product and reselling it for a profit? No. Does buying tons of inventory of anything to cause shortages make you a piece of shit? Yes. Not a "kid" or aching to buy a 3000 series card. I'm just being a realist.
  7. I'll be real here, Apple hate is pretty played out. I almost considered going Apple years ago after being sick of Windowsisms. Wouldn't say they are the best, but they are nice to look at. What I do feel that is valid criticism is what is the point of aesthetic when you depend on the eyesoar of dongles to get functionality? Equally concerning is their lack of serviceability.
  8. I've been using the Honey extension and I like that it alerts you to price changes. Only thing I missed out on for recent purchases was not saving $10 on my new case. I can live with that.
  9. Gonna check Cyber Monday for stuff, but BF wasn't Earth shattering. Did pick up some stuff I was planning to get anyway that was a little cheaper so there is that. Biggest sale would be the monitor I bought for $120 off, though.
  10. Doesn't sound like you ever experienced dialup before. 1-3mbps would have been considered ungodly fast. Calling adds unnecessary pressure if you're undecisive. Using an app spares someone from that. Yes, walk to places like an airport. Public transportation doesn't go everywhere.
  11. In contrast, while gaming at the same price would be unfair to the PC, the PS5 can't do much beyond gaming. Even factoring hardware limitations at the price, you can't do something like write an essay on a PS5 or do digital art. Controversy aside, the focus was more on hype.
  12. Pros of the 90s: + Hand drawn animation vs flash + Console wars were actually interesting + 8 year olds didn't have iPhones + WWF attitude era + No social media breeding toxicity + Games didn't have achievements for simply playing it + TSA booty pirates didn't exist + People weren't overly sensitive + No simping over Onlyfans etc. Cons: - No internet for you if someone wanted to use the phone - Took forever to load anything - Giant af inconvenient maps thay folded over x100000 times - PC tech was horribly expensive
