All seriousness tho, I couldn't justify the cost of Factorio, so it's been sitting pretty on my ever growing wishlist since 14/08/2017...

It recently celebrated it's 3rd anniversary on the list.

Those cards are getting old I will say.

My best graphics card is a GTX 960 but I can't really use it for folding because it has really loud blower cooler (Asus Turbo OC). Not that it would have good ppd either.

It's very addictive. I stopped playing last year as I maxed out the single threaded performance of my CPU at the time (4790K), and the game became a laggy mess. Bare in mind, the base built was absolutely huge.

I love these kinds of games. It is similar to C&C, Red Alert series which was one of the first games I ever bought. One day I'll get it, if it ever shows up on Humble Bundle I'll jump on it immediately, it's just imo Satisfactory is better out of the 2 for being 3D instead of overhead world.

 

Tho now I want to play C&C again 😂 Also reminded me to maybe update and play Naval Action as well.

C&C Generals Zero Hour works on W10, but it'll need to be patched for it to work... C&C Is one of my favourite game franchises of all time. Shame EA had to kill it.

I have 3/4/RA3 on Steam everything else I have to try to load it up from the dvd/cds. Truth be told I'm used to EA destroying beloved games now, people need to start boycotting them till they go under or start doing things right, I can forgive a bad game or 2 in a franchise but what they have done in general overall isn't worthy of my money anymore, even if they make a good game.

I'm considering cancelling my 3080 pre orders. Retailer is in violation of the consumer rights act 2015. It's been over 30 days and they have not given me any product, or any emails that contain information...

Why you don't pre-order. Also you'd be surprised how many companies either don't know about the laws or don't care.

Online I know a few others, but they aren't as big and no longer would buy or tell others to buy from them. For Amazon their pricing is usually the same as in store launches esp movies so why buy from them and having to wait for delivery?

 

For B&M stores, well almost everyone will fail to notify, tech places at least here are the worst. Family bought from Leon's (furniture) almost 2 months ago only updates they ever got was when they called. I ordered a old camera and lens from Henry's, I had to contact them, according to support the store notified them it was in a unsalable condition days before I contacted them (I contacted them about 30 days after purchase) 🤔 No idea how true that is but all money spent was returned after them trying to find a replacement and it was a toy anyways with no real purpose for acquiring. Tho my pre-orders from them have always been as expected and on time.

@GOTSpectrum for the point badges in general (not the event ones) would it help if there was a image URL that took the username as a parameter and the server simply displayed the correct badge based on that IMAGE URL being a service that checked how many points they have earned for the team.  

Admins put in image once for people that want a badge.   Adding / removing and what badges are what score is all centralized and consistent?
