Admins put in image once for people that want a badge.   Adding / removing and what badges are what score is all centralized and consistent?

It's getting a little old at this point.   When you delay and you still deliver BS, just to try and flip the narrative on AMD... that's just wrong.

I have been checking with a commercial hardware reseller... they were offered like 8 units for 3 models, they had 500 on request.

tell me about it but its fun to make fun of it and trust me if AMD has same issue even though i am classified as an amd fan boy i will make fun of them too.  unless i hear retailers had pallets of them and sold out.

The hard truth is in 2020 supply chain issues and interruptions in production, it's hard to get a pallet of anything.

How much did it retail for in the UK?

Here, in Romania in our currency, converted to us dollars, goes for $913.73, the cheapest one, and $1,033.95 the most expensive one.

Also, we don't get FE's here, only partner boards.

And yes, it's completely sold out.

Their inventory system shows 10 inbound... wondering where I fall on the list.

I think they misspelled Moderators with Admins, because if one is willing to go that extent it can be completely automated not needing a single persons intervention. Tho I'm confused a little as to why anyone would want to use images to collect data from, because they can be modified as well and really easily too.

This was done purely in paint, because I was bored one day and had nothing better to do, for 5 minutes.

Here's what you do: ask if you're one of the 10 or be right after that if they refuse to tell you cancel anyways, because if they are not willing to tell you means you are very likely not on the list.

Equally what you could do next time is place a order before the big release as close to the release time as possible and compare invoice numbers Tho that only works if they don't have their invoice numbers associated with your account.

Also many years of shopping at CC has taught me that their online inventory is 100% untrustworthy, minimum you have to call in or get lucky with low stock or pre-orders.

 

Just wait for kijiji to be flooded with "purchased from CC but theyre not doing returns" in a weeks time. I passed by one location earlier today and there was a line down the front of the building, though couldnt tell if it was for general online pickup or not.

 

Also aib partner cards are trickling out for navi

 

Still salty I had a line on a good deal for a 980ti poseidon card before the event but it fell through last second.

And.. according to UFD Tech... 3070 TI and 3080 TI announced to compete with AMD.

So... The delay was to start architecture on a new card, sell off "old" new parts in the 3070, as it sounds like the 3070 TI will use the GPU from the 3080... which of course they don't have enough of with Samsung fabrication.

For AMD sake... hope they don't botch their physical launch this hard too.

Their online inventory is better now than it was before, however I wouldn't trust it for the newly launched items. It's the only thing I miss about NCIX who had live updates.

 

Yea, I've had issues with CC with returns till recently, they've updated their policies and such, it's now typically no questions asked//testing kind of deal. The one issue I have had with CC was a open box Corsair Commander Pro back in Jan for my new computer, they clearly never inspected it before putting it on the shelf as it was clearly a used item returned for a new one that was broken with the double sided tape on it. I quickly returned it (no issues) and bought one from Amazon since my local location didn't have any new units. So anyone using that is basically lying, esp if the receipt doesn't state final sale.

 

The line could be people trying to pick up or the store hit the limit in store, if DT TO their stores are very small and I personally would avoid right now, the Etobicoke store is the old Tiger Direct store which is almost as big as Unionville.

I hope so too, It'll give them a huge boost in sales they deserve. I don't think they'll have as bad of an issue as Nvidia does right now but we have to wait and see. Hopefully on launch more than 10 cards will be within the geo area Good fail Nvidia good fail.
