What was the first PC/Console game you played?

I don't know the name and I remember when we went from like a p4 to a core 2 quad I never found it again.

Gameboy and NES, Duck Hunt and Tetris I remember quite well.

 

Packard Bell with Windows 3.1.  Either it was Rogue or a game similar to it.  So much dying.  Plus, Tanks, a lot, a lot of playing Tanks.  Bouncy walls be fun.

On the N64, which we still have: Mario Kart, Super Mario Party, that Sports game where you could Snowboard, James Bond Golden Eye. We've actually got about 50 if nor more games for the N64 and I played pretty much all of them but I was like 8 or 9 at the time where I was actively playing on it.

 

On PC, on Windows XP to be specific: Super Maro Bros

My father and I played my first internet game of Warcraft over a 56k dial up connection against one of his buddies who smoked us.

You're reminding me of a game I wrote when I was younger.   A console text mode based fantasy RPG based on the Northworld trilogy by David Drake.  Utilizes 80x50 text mode and colored extended ascii to provide a 2d topographical Ultima style game interface.

Another old man here. I don't remember the first game, but it was on a Spectrum +2a (probably still in my mum's house somewhere). It loaded up games from a cassette tape, I shit you not. Played a lot of the Dizzy games on there, also Rick Dangerous, anyone else remember that?

My first game console was NES and Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, I received it in Christmas when I was 4 years old. That was 32 years ago.  4 years later after first game console, I got my first PC that I received from my uncle. Jeez, I am getting old.

I suppose it would have been Mario Brothers as the NES was my very first console as a kid and I received it brand new as Christmas gift with Mario as the pack-in game.

 

Yeah, I received it new as a kid so I pretty much dated myself lol.

 

You would think that would have set me up as a big Nintendo fan but I ended up buying a Genesis a few years later with my Christmas money over an SNES. I did get an N64 a bit after that came out but ended up returning it and got a PS1 instead.

First game I played was Duck Hunt x Mario Bros and I would take the Ray Gun and press it to the tv and try to shoot that darn mocking dog.
