Ryzen blackout rig

Hi, in my quest to turn a spare room into an entertainment room, I’ve decided to build a fairly low spec pc, it will be used for watching tv, YouTube and some light gaming.

parts list:

 

Mobo: asus b450-f

Cpu: ryzen 5 3600

gpu: Sapphire pulse rx 580 8gb
Ram: Corsair vengeance lpx 16gb 3200mhz c16

psu: cooler master mpy 5501

case: cooler master master box mb520

Fans: Noctua industrials 3000rpm

4x120mm and 2x140mm

im gonna use a 50 inch tcl tv and a semi okay sound bar, eventually I will get surround sound speakers.

 

the only rgb will be a couple accent strips to go with the room lighting, I’m painting tomorrow and the rest of the stuff for the room will be here by Friday, will update as I paint and whatnot.

wow thats pretty good tbh, when you get the surround sound make sure to get a good sound card, only thing is upgrade gpu, pretty good specs otherwise

They gave me 650w psu instead of a 550, but no complaining will be heard

I’m gonna get it all set up tonight, and then mount it in my case tomorrow, maybe I’ll set up my noctuas blowing some air into the gpu and do some benchmarks tonight 

 

that add sticks out like a sore thumb from my theme, so that’s gonna get a heat sink real quick

Just realized I can't configure it tho, the keyboard I have is janky as all hell and it's not working, and the on I ordered off Amazon hasn't come yet.

 

 

That rgb will be turned solid red when I get my keyboard, and will be accompanied by my accent strip, but that will be it.

Will be hooking it up to a tv and posting benchmarks later tonight, don’t have a spare WiFi card or adapter, and there’s no Ethernet ports in that room yet, waiting to paint and patch some holes.
