That 4060 8gb could be replaced with a cheaper 3060 12gb if you can still find one somewhere, they're about the same performace.

Or you could pick an AMD gpu.

 

Your cpu doesn't have an igpu. It's always good to have it as backup incase the gpu breaks. Unless you have a spare gpu you can put in if that happens.

 

550w powersupply, seems abit low if you're thinking to upgrade to something better or add more drives later on.

I wouldn't exactly recommend switching to a 5600G though. Since it has way less cache and slower speeds, as well as less PCIe bandwidth.

The MSI PSU is the only real shortcoming overall, their warranty service is pretty terrible

thanks i think im gonna go with the be quiet! System Power 10 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply with a slightly higher wattage for better future-proofing

I guess you could reduce it with PBO,

 

idk if it's worth paying 100€ more for 12% boost going from ~300 to ~400€

I use it with my 3060 (undervolt not OC) and there's sometimes a bit of a cpu bottleneck at 1080p, not too bad tho

I was comparing it to their original build (where mine is 40 euros more), in which case mine would have less ram but the gpu would be better with more vram and a better psu

 

Though if we look at it like this, yes, it's not the best value, paying 33% more for only 12% more performance

define bottleneck, u got a 12 thread CPU, not all games use 12 threads even if there's background programs that may do that

it's a pretty solid build, unless you have gazillion open Chrome tabs and 50 Discords, Skypes, anti-cheats, Steams, Epic Games, other software, 16GB should be enough, I have 16GB myself, though I mainly just play games and do general stuff on my PC.

what games? I do get very mild stutters myself but only in specific re-occurring situations where it isn't that problematic and could be caused by the source being stored on HDD,

if you can manage with 16GB it can still be good enough, while having 2 sticks is better than 4 sticks in potential future, it's still that time period where you might be already upgrading whole PC before you're forced to upgrade ram
