  1. Milsub was always a nickname. They never called them that internally, in advertising or had milsub on the dials. That being said, Rolex has more money paid to retainers than Kiger gets paid a year so they can afford to push a frivolous lawsuit.
  2. Grand Seiko, JLC and Cartier sells quartz watches for 10 times that
  3. Seiko did a limited run of watches and the entire dial is pikachu
  4. Because I dont need crazy complications and the only Patek I like is a Calitrava (and I already have watches in that style). Id take the Jules Audemars line over something like a Lange 1 or something from Glashutte. Also because I love the design, I love Gerald Genta and this was his self proclaimed masterpiece.
  5. Does that not have the Omega push-pull quickset? What movement is it? If its a 565 it should.
  6. Thats not news. Plenty of ADs sell back door. AP doesnt have canadian dealers and their boutiques dont ship to Canada. I had to go grey.
  7. Because technically a seconds hand is a complication and you arent supposed to have a complicated watch in dressy occasions. It was considered rude traditionally. Also, I like simplicity. I dont hate any watch. They have all have a place. Actually, I take that back, I hate hublot.
  8. For a dress watch, you should only have 2 hands (or no watch at all) IMO. Thats why I like the Reverso personally.
  9. Honestly, beat rate isnt something I think is too important personally. Its nice to have a smoother sweep for your seconds and slightly better accuracy but its not make or break for me. Youd probably pay an extra 200 bucks or so if it had a 9015 or a 2824. At that price point you could be in Hamilton/Glycine/Certina/Tissot levels.
  10. They won't be my motha's favorite house guest tho. RIP Nicky V
  11. Honestly, the Zenith is pure class. People whine cause Rolex Daytona fanboys dont want to feel they got ripped off paying 20k+ for stainless steel
