Id take the Jules Audemars line over something like a Lange 1 or something from Glashutte. Also because I love the design, I love Gerald Genta and this was his self proclaimed masterpiece.

Because technically a seconds hand is a complication and you arent supposed to have a complicated watch in dressy occasions. It was considered rude traditionally. Also, I like simplicity. I dont hate any watch. They have all have a place. Actually, I take that back, I hate hublot.

For a dress watch, you should only have 2 hands (or no watch at all) IMO. Thats why I like the Reverso personally.

Honestly, beat rate isnt something I think is too important personally. Its nice to have a smoother sweep for your seconds and slightly better accuracy but its not make or break for me. Youd probably pay an extra 200 bucks or so if it had a 9015 or a 2824. At that price point you could be in Hamilton/Glycine/Certina/Tissot levels.

Honestly, the Zenith is pure class. People whine cause Rolex Daytona fanboys dont want to feel they got ripped off paying 20k+ for stainless steel
