Posted February 2, 2019 I saw that Linus got #14 on Trending (in the US at least) and decided to maybe comment congratulations or something. (Cliche, I know.) I didn't want to be redundant, so I sorted comments by new to see if anybody else did. I was met with hate speech that personally pissed me off. Here's a couple screencaps: Is this normal? Are you pissed too? Quote or mention me or I won't be notified of your reply! These are haters but I would classify "hate speech" as someone being racist or something, that's the context I've heard it most used in at least. Posted February 2, 2019 I have to admit, I thought the video was kind of boring. CPUs aren't meant to be dropped, so breaking it was not a surprise. Glue and a vice grip as a Hail Mary to fix a very expensive CPU makes sense to try for the company, but doesn't make for exciting video, especially when it doesn't work. Posted February 2, 2019 I was also dissapointee in the video but sometimes stuff doesn’t work, balance this against some of the really good content of late and it looks even worse! So if that passes trough the cracks imagine what get "stuck" in the filters. Meanwhile what seeps trough here is so tame, that it doesen´t even compare to those.
