SeppuKuma, the bear that helps you with your suicide.

HeathCliff
Go to solution Solved by Sunako,

I can't believe this tread has gone on this long. The bear in question

is nothing more then a nursing aid and was brought up all the way

back in Jan. here. It does not help any one with suicide Seppukuma

isn't even the things name its been photoshopped in. The bear is

called ROBEAR and just ment to be an aid for patients that need help

getting up and around their home without having a full time nurse.

your brain is still there to process the pain

Nope, after enough shock to your nervous system your brain just shuts down regardless.

Your system goes into shock and can't process shit. Your sensory system is so overwhelmed it just shuts down.

Hmm... That site looks a little like a non-serious troll site, after reading it for a little more.

That at least looks legitimate. As densely populated and as much population decline as Japan might have, pretty sure they'd not be trying to assist suicides, but more like try to prevent them. Despite so many possible robots, they still need workers after all.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

Snip

The part about "failing" to kill the 12 beta testers, after it horribly crushed them.  Brain can not compute.  How does it fail at killing someone?  People have really perfected the art of killing.  I am not sure what is more frightening, the suicide helper robot, or that it might fail on you and not kill you all the way.

But why they didn't make yandere that kills you with 50 different ways??? Imagine how many would rather die on arms of their waifus than some perverted looking bear.

This is incredibly wrong, but incredibly Japanese. Terminator bear is here, now it just needs an Arnie voice and we'll all be happy as we die.

Hasta la vista, senpai.

The stars died for you to be here today.

Wait, I'm sorry. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ADIMOVS LAWS OF ROBOTICS! next thing you know they'll be rebranded to be waiters at a pizza franchise...

Asimov's three laws of robotics:

/A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

Couple things. It's Asimov, no D. Secondly, those are ideas, not actual laws. They would have to be implemented and in this case, they obviously are not. A death robot is a pretty neat idea. A lot of people want to die and their care takers usually don't want to help kill them (wouldn't be very good care takers if they tried to kill their patients). Suicide robots do the dirty work for you leaving everyone happy.
