The Moon was very clear last night so I decided to take ~30-40 shots as I was trying out different settings to just get it right. Just edited this one on my computer and looks great.

I was kicking myself in the behind last night as my parents and I were out in Lancaster, PA and it's really dark and before we left the house, my mom was like, "Take the camera with you", but I just didn't feel like going back into the house to get it. Would have been perfect out there due to less light pollution in the sky.

Thanks!!

Yeah I had forgot to mention I had my T7 on a tripod last night with a 2-sec delay as I don't have a remote (works for me).

Your photos on the telescope come out pretty damn good. I never knew you could mount a body on a telescope, as I know there are super telephoto lens but those are way out of my price range haha.

Don’t go in that thing.  It looks dangerous as hell.  There’s been a lot of materials degradation there.  Bits that look sturdy could collapse at a touch.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

As I learned, late night street photography in sketchy areas is liable to invite trouble. Photography can be quite the dangerous profession. 😅

I didn’t think too much on the composition. The rain made things smell quite nice, and I took the photo to capture what I felt then. Not a lot to it.

For color, I started with a LightRoom preset and adjusted further from there to taste.

That X-S10 is a pretty nice camera. Some pretty clean results even at 1600 ISO.

I work off fuji color profiles but same idea. I'm in capture one because adobe hates how fuji does their color filter

I rarely shoot below ISO800 because that is where it gets the most dynamic range. 6400 is about where I like to limit it.
I like it so much I bought 2.

I am getting pretty fucking sick and tired of the "watch something else" responses. It's such a cop out answer because you could say that about basically anything, and it doesn't address the actual complaints. People use it as some kind of card they pull when they can't actually respond to the criticism raised but they still feel like they need to defend some company/person. If you don't like this thread then stop reading it. See how stupid it is? It's basically like telling someone "shut the fuck up". It's not a clever responsive, it doesn't address anything said, and it is rude.

Yeah don’t stare at the sun in an OVF.

I have a soft spot for sun shots, so I like it.

Yesterday I built a new backdrop.

Nice, like the photo but at the same time I don't have much to say, lol. 7/10.

fellow $200 (odd) phone cameras! Was out on a walk and I got this photo. Didn't have enough time to get the photo down, it's somewhat out of focus and isn't very well exposed. And... sock? I didn't even notice that. Sigh, there's always tomorrow. Didn't bother editing this one, heh.
