which is better for online gaming 1.1.1.1 or 1.1.1.1 with warp?

DNS has absolutely no influence on ping. It is used to resolve something like "linustechtips.com" to an IP address. That's it.

If the DNS server is (very) slow, then it might take somewhat longer (we're talking milliseconds here) to make an initial connection. For example let say it takes 500 ms to resolve "example.gameserver.com" to its IP 1.2.3.4.

That would most likely add a noticeable delay when you first fetch the list of available servers, but once the IP has been resolved, DNS is no longer involved at all. Your computer will communicate with the computer/server behind that IP directly. From that point forward ping will primarily depend on the phyiscal distance between you and the game server.

(a quick approximation would be shortest distance between you and the game server, but of course cables don't necessarily follow that route. So it really depends on how many hundreds or thousands of miles of cable there is between you and the server and also how many devices like routers, switches etc. add their own delay)
