Tip from me. Check for the highest PPD on the cause preference with your configurations. You could gain some extra points.

The numbers i make are peanuts compared to others. I use the folding to heat the room with the PC xD

So uh plugged in my 1070 into the new PSU, no work. Install drivers, still no work...

Plugged it back in to my unraid, nope

 

Guess I'll contact EVGA idk. doesn't show up in command or nothing... So did the new PSU kill my GPU

Quick troubleshooting question -- has anyone here been folding using Nvidia driver 496.49, and if so, have you seen any issues? On both of the boxes I have with it loaded, I keep running into an issue where after folding for a random interval of time (seemingly after 8-12 hours?), my GPU clock will lock down to about a third of its max speed, and it's been tanking my PPD. Even more strangely, the boost clocks will only be restored after a full system reboot -- restarting F@H does nothing.

I am not overclocking, nor adjusting power limits. The GPU cores/memory/VRMs are not throttling. One PC doing it is AMD based, and the other is Intel based, so it's not a platform issue or BIOS bug. It happens with PCIE link state management enabled or disabled. I have no idea what it could be outside of driver.

Ah, it's all good.  I've got all the "kiddies" pedalling as fast at they can, so it is what it is.

However, I am presently firing up the secret weapon.  Installing Windows 10 as I type.  Just waiting for the updates.  Uggh.

 

It's a (pseudo) over 4.6 Ghz ALL CORE beast.  64 bit.  Plenty of ram to do the job.  RAID 0.  Dual networking and SLI capable.  750W power supply to feed it.

 

It's goin' to fly.
