KFC releases it's own Gaming Console, possibly faster than XBox or Playstation... oh and it warms Chicken

I guarantee that its fake. delete the "landing" from the cookies. or try to click on the cooler master logo at the top.

When you delete the "landing" part of the cookies it brings you to cooler masters 404 page. Or when you click on the coolermaster logo it just brings you to the KFC page. Its a joke.

EDIT:

It says with a 2070 SUPER, and it also claims 240FPS at 4k. IDK about you, but to me, that sounds like a bit of baloney.

It’s not a joke, it’s real and it’s a marketing project. It’s really not that difficult to believe. Budweiser did the same thing a few months ago.

You’re also misquoting them. It says it supports 4K displays at 240Hz refresh rates. They’re in no way saying that it will run stuff at those specs.

Considering it's just a NUC with a riser cable to a GPU, you could likely swap out the card for a 3080 if you wanted.

it does say 240FPS.

What next, The Burger King gaming rig?

No doubt, it'll cost more than the McDonald's version and won't be any better.

I remember KFC making a commercial about this a while back. I thought it was a joke, but I guess Cooler Master decided to make it a real thing.

It's not really a console though. It's just a PC designed to somewhat resemble a console.

Imagine if it was so poorly designed you could literally fry chicken on it's grill?

No it's using the NUC compute unit so it's gonna be outperformed by Ryzen SFF PCs or laptops in 3 months or so.

Summary

KFC has released the KFConsole, A custom Intel Extreme NUC for gaming that also keeps your Chicken warm while gaming.

My thoughts
This is spicier than KFC's Spicy Chicken sandwich. It's likely going to be a small promotional run and will be probably the price of a regular Intel 9 Extreme NUC ($1400 USD or so), however. Regardless, it definitely sounds extremely well spec'd... the wife is due for an upgrade and it'd be stupidly hilarious to grab this. Would you buy this for a gaming PC and if so, for what price?

So... They took @Slick's heating a pizza on a PC idea and made something around it? Sus!
