  1. (News regarding Qualcomm will be updated later today) All three brands have come out with designs equipped with ARM Cortex A78 Cores that are sometimes over 3Ghz. Some Benchmarks have appeared for each as well. Qualcomm is starting their Day 1 keynote which should cover their new SoCs, but some benchmarks seems to have leaked: Samsung also recently announced their Exynos 1080, built on their 5nm Process, and is probably going to be loaded into some Galaxy S21 models as well as some BBK brands as well. It is also not certain if the 1080 and 2100 are in fact the same SoC. Media
  2. Covered by Techlinked already, having been rather infamous for the past 4 years, Ajit Pai will be stepping down as chairman of FCC when it will be replaced by the new US president's choice. Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/30/fcc-chairman-ajit-pai-will-step-down-on-january-20.html Thoughts: Good? Bad? I honestly don't know what's a good replacement for him that Joe Biden could pick from the people he knows. Would it also mean his rulings be overturned?
  3. Well, I choose my PSUs from the PSU list on linustechtips.com anyway.
  4. I'm not too sure, TongFang's own brand Mechrevo has a laptop that looks similar but has no matching specifications. Do you have a link to their OEM model? I will amend the article accordingly if you have it.
  5. The Edge+ is currently Motorola's Flagship phone with a 90hz display with specs similar to most other flagships at the start of 2020. However recently there have been mentions of a new device named "Nio" that will have specs even better than the Edge+. Source: https://www.xda-developers.com/motorola-testing-105hz-display-refresh-rate/ Thoughts: While regular moto models are decent, if this phone doesn't come naturally with a 865+ I think it will struggle to compete with other similar flagships, unless the price is as good as Xiaomi/Vivo/Huawei's offerings. But hey, at
  6. Packing an impressive 2K 144hz or 165hz monitor, the XMG NEO and Eluktronics MAX series of laptops now carries almost the highest spec intel + Nvidia possible at the current moment. While the XMG has a better starting price, at the some specification the Eluktronics is a more affordable choice though the former may have a bit better CPU performance. 7. Amongst all the 3060 Ti news, MSI made an unusual act to submit their trademarks for a 20GB memory model of the RTX 3080 to the Eurasian Economic Commission alongside their 3060 Ti model names, no information of when this card will come out is unknown. 8. Apple hasn't seem to forget about their tablets even with the somewhat successful launch of their new Macbooks. New rumors from Digitimes has hinted that the company will be refreshing their iPads as well as future iphones with 5G mmWave capabilities. On another source, it says that screen manufacturers have begin supplying miniLEDs to apple lately. 9. Microsoft surface computers has been somewhat competitive on the market for awhile. With so many new CPUs on the market now they have begun manufacturing of their next generation of surface laptops. 10. Apple has mentioned before on their M1 debut that the switch to ARM is gradual, hinting that it will continue to release x86-based laptops for the next two years or so. This seems to have been proven with some recent driver updates on the MacOS. Though it could also mean that the new ARM CPU may get dGPU support instead. Source: https://www.notebookcheck.net/The-AMD-Radeon-RX-6700-series-may-debut-in-Apple-s-next-16-inch-MacBook-Pro.506075.0.html Thoughts: If the price is as good as the previous 16-inch Macbook pro or better, I am sure there will be a lot of Mac users who wants this
