  3. it's pretty cool that in my next build I'm going to be able to reduce some of the "Made in China" content of next pc build

mainly what's going to be made outside of China will be the Memory/RAM and SSDs and probably the CPU.

Unfortunately it seems like no one besides lian li assembles proper cases for general consumers outside of China

It seems like Ryzen's 3000 series is iffy on where it's made.

    Power supplies same deal.

I just want fewer parts assembled in China, I don't care if the parts that make up those parts were made in China *which probably were* but just having final assembly out of China is good enough for me.

any reason to try to avoid "made in china" parts?

      Substandard quality is one

I mean basically every product you own has most likely seen some time in china or malaysia, the question is what it is, and what company it is from. there's cheap chinese then there's just chinese.
as for PC parts which it seems this post is about, you can't really avoid because AFAIK most transistor fabs are in china, along with we're most flash memory and some HDD's are made.

@Letgomyleghoe If only the cost of business was lower in the US...

  4. one thing that sucks about white in RGB lights is it doesn't re-produce it as well as normal White LEDs do lol I do wished the RGB trend would die already but it seems like it's here to stay for a little bit longer

      wdym canada's great!

the price of cigarettes there alone makes me want to move, let alone universal healthcare, canadian road rage, and ample supply of maple trees.

  8. So if anyone's looking for a pretty nifty server on discord that has some cool stuff coming up as well as currently runs a Farming Sim 19 Server, an ATS/ETS2 Virtual Trucking Company, as well a couple other cool things that are also aviation related. I can hook you up with an invite link if you'd be interested.
