  1. I've been noticing the same issue today. Seems to only be affecting new status updates (doesn't affect status replies or reactions). I've been consistently getting notifications for new status posts an hour after they were made. Or just not at all.
  2. I wish I could, but the one I got doesn't seem to be listed on Amazon anymore than I can find.
  3. I think OP is making a list of CPUs they are considering and asking for input, rather than listing CPUs they would recommend to other people.
  4. Yeah, that's also important. From what I've seen, a decently long third-party cable that's rated to work with Oculus Link should cost somewhere between $20-30.
  5. I use one of those myself. You just need to make sure the cable you get is USB 3.0 with 5 Gbps transfer speed. You also need to make sure your motherboard has a USB 3.0 port open. From my experience, USB ports on your case won't work, even if they are USB 3.0.
  6. OG Xbox do be a chunky boi on the shelf next to my other consoles...

An Xbox feels significantly more substantial than any PS2 or GameCube does.

Source: I own all three lmao.

  7. BIG score at the thrift stores today:

I got an OG Xbox for $10! The only caveat is that the disk drive has issues reading games, but for $10 I'm willing to put in the work to fix that. I'll also need to get my hands on a controller and AV cable, but that should be pretty easy. Oh, and of course a game for it. I can't really test if the disk drive works without having a game to run on it.

In the meantime, I'm gonna open this thing up and give it a good cleaning. It's pretty dusty if you couldn't tell from the pictures.

Semi-related: There was a company called Friendtech that specialized in modding these OG Xboxes--they'd upgrade the CPU from a 733 MHz modified Celeron to a 1.4 GHz Tuatalin, as well as double the system memory to 128 MB.

      Step 2: Save modding

Step 3: Play arr'd games imports to your heart's content

  8. Today it's time to take another thrift store scavenging trip! I'll probably just end up with nothing more than a bunch of disappointment. But who knows, maybe I'll find something interesting and worth my time.

If you happen to find any computers or anything, we'd be happy to hear about it!

  9. It just means that motherboard comes with support for 3000 series Ryzen CPUs out of the box, rather than requiring a manual BIOS update to add support. As long as the box says it's compatible with Ryzen 1000 series as well, you should be fine.
  10. Them: So what kind of games do you like?

    Me: Yes

  11. I don't know how I've gone over a year on the forum without ever having a profile banner. I've been meaning to change up the pfp I use everywhere for a while too, so maybe I should come up with some sort of theme. I'm just indecisive and can never come up with something new I like.

But party parrot gang might miss you

  12. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You're definitely on my list. Other nomination goes to @Schnoz
  13. Well nevermind then. I was wondering if it had somehow gotten set to silent mode, but that's clearly not the case. I'd get in touch with HP's customer support about this and see if they can come up with a fix. I know it can be annoying talking with customer support, but the original manufacturer is going to be your best bet for a fix to a problem like this, especially since you may end up needing a repair or replacement.
  14. Yeah meat lovers is definitely one of my favorites as well. I just love a good Hawaiian pizza when I get the chance to get one. I'm the only one in my family who likes it so it's normally a rare occasion.
  15. Oh yeah pineapple pizza has to have ham on it. That's part of the package. I've never had anchovies on pizza myself so I can't have an opinion on it.
