.txt files notepad gives error message

when i  have  built this pc 2 months ago  eveything was woking  fine  until i woke  up one day  booted  up  the  computer  and  tried  to  access  a note pad.txt  file and  it  gives me an  error  -2015294222 please   can smoneone  help me  out with  this issue as i  need to  use my noteepad  frequently

also the error  code i  get  after for  microsoft  seach suppot  is  0x87E10BC

That error usually comes when you try to activate an older windows with a new code. 

Do you have a legit activation code?. 

3 months are usually the grace period before a system causes problem if not activated properly.

One workaround would perhaps be using Notepad++ or something similar?

Also - have you tried running "sfc /scannow" in admin mode command line?
