If you have physical access to a device, the device's security is or eventually will be screwed. -
Mike's Dark Cherry or nothing for me. Maybe I need to try more expensive stuff but otherwise maybe 1 drink a year.

I thought pixel shift cameras used natural vibrations from the shooter, wind, et al for this, not motors?

Summary Facebook and Oculus are looking into rapidly shifting displays to blur pixels together to allow the screen door effect to be removed from even low end VR headsets. Media Quotes My thoughts I'm not surprised to see this technology implemented in VR headsets, it's been used in projectors for a few years now (and even mentioned in one of the latest LTT videos). Regardless, it'll be an interesting balancing act as the g-forces of the display shifting will need to be counteracted.... or at least marketed as a non-optional face mas

SAMSUNG LABO. LET'S GO I'd like to see Samsung open this up to community creations. I'm sure tons of people would love to repurpose their old devices that aren't that tech savvy compared to rooting / IFTTT / tasker. -

Summary Apple has been granted a patent for a VR Glove. Media Quotes My thoughts Neat. It's about time a major player actually considers gloves for VR. However, while I'm excited for the glove itself, I doubt Apple will be releasing one despite their VR and AR acquisitions. This will, however, make a statement to other companies that Apple is thinking about developing it and I'm sure other companies will follow suit, even if Apple doesn't. Summary Nintendo has silently removed 250 digital only DSiWare games from the DSi and 3DS eShops. Existing purchases can be re-downloaded but new purchases can not be made. Media Quotes My thoughts Hopefully this is just a glitch. Removing digital only copies of games makes it extremely hard to preserve works for future generations. I mean it's exactly what I would expect a REAL phishing attachment to contain: Something too good to be true. The Cyber Security enthusiast in me sees nothing wrong, but at the same time OOF
