That 8020 stuff is great.  Used them quite a few times building stuff.

Mm, I understand where you're coming from. However, in the video above, the only part where PewDiePie was mentioned was in the intro (Linus answering the Why? question). The rest of the video is a custom case/PC build (brilliantly done too), with Linus and Colin gushing about CAD, impromptu adjustments, and creepers. In my opinion, whatever PewDiePie's done and said doesn't reflect on LTT, and vice versa -- they are two separate entities, two separate YouTube channels. Perhaps considering the above video purely as LTT building a creeper-shaped PC (full-stop, no additional details needed) might change your feelings on the subject?

Cool, then the video shouldn't have even mentioned him. But that's not what happened, the video was titled to specifically link LTT and PewDiePie

Ah yes, clicky-baity titles/titles worded to draw in the clicks. Well, it's an issue other members have brought up in the past, I personally have no opinion on the matter. Except... Mm, judging a book by its cover much?

But hey, it doesn't look like I can change your mind, so I'll leave the topic be. No hard feelings, I hope? 😁

Yeah... I couldn't agree more. PewDiePie was someone I enjoyed watching many many many-yyy years ago, when I was a little kid back in school. But I quickly unsubscribed years ago ago. His content just got worse and worse, his fan base is some of the worst people I've ever encountered.. The fact he laughed openly about the global virus pandemic, his racial outbursts throughout the years. And his name being used as a meme all over the world and him even being mentioned as a source for terrorism has pushed it all over the edge. Like many other internet people who grew bigger and bigger he's just totally out of control and so are most of the people who follow him.. He's just become one giant horrible internet meme, LMG would be wise to keep their distance from him, his name and the content.

LMG has done a great job throughout the years of standing by their own accord, they do things themselves and even though they mention others they've never jumped on the band wagon of other people. Linus and his crew do their own thing, jumping on the entire PewDiePie band wagon is just... Please, no.

I would advise caution with doing these kind of things in the future.

While im behind PewDiePies anti political correctness 100% for sure, and the 'scandals' he's been 'involved in' have come across as nothing but NPC/SJW being outraged for the sake of outrage.....i've never been a fan of content creators that produce content along the lines he does. I find it highly childish ..pointless ...somewhat pathetic ..and overall just cringe worthy. Certainly not worth the fortunes he's made doing it , but all credit to him, he's made it work.

So i'd have to agree with peoples statement here that LMG associating itself with him and his channel is not the best look.

Would have been better of just linking the build to ur minecraft server and not mentioning him at all.

Well, he easily made around 10M views a day. That's a big potential viewer there.

And LMG, they already said, they're not interested in political discussion, and for an entity that doesn't care about that, there's no harm in associating with him.

Cringe worthy?, isn't that the path the LTT has chosen?. We are talking about Linus here, and that's something they have to do for the sake of their channel. If you don't like cringe stuff, LTT surely isn't the place.

Regardless of the obvious backlash going on with this video:

I'm glad to see that LMG is getting better and better at engineering and that they are taking on harder and harder challenges. The better LMG gets at engineering the bigger and cooler projects they can take on. That makes me excited for the future of LMG and their content.

ENCRYPTION IS NOT A CRIME
