This is absolutely incredible! Here we were a week ago at 470 PFLOPS of processing power. Now, it has nearly doubled. Though there are still issues, it is amazing at how much not only LTT has responded, but the enthusiast and gaming community! The real question is: Can the F@H team actually keep the beast fed? So far there is are still issues with getting WU and also sending them off. However, is to be expected with the massive increase in contributers. From a network that was only Now researches are able to get models that use to take a month or more in just mere days!

Really amazing. Absolutely truly amazing.

Seeing how they're sending out 115k WUs an hour, I launched F@H again because I haven't been getting them today. Been running Rosetta@Home in the meantime. Actually just received a F@H WU in under a minute.

500k-2mil depending on wu acceptance.  there's more workers than units so I'm sitting at about 40% idle.

Speaking of stressing, the CPU WU's found some instability in my overclock that I've been running the last year with no crashes.

 

Turns out...VRM thermal throttling.  Took me a day to track it down, trying more voltage and more AVX offset and less ram clock and nothing helping.

 

Shitty  Z390 mobo manufactures...put a damn finned heatsink on the VRMs, especially the "top tier" ones.  It also is somewhat brought on myself by being watercooled with only 4 fans in the case spinning 750rpm.  Remedied with a 140mm blowing directly on the socket.

 

 

More on topic, my systems (1080Ti, Titan X, 2699v4, 9900KF, 7600K) all been idle the last few hours.  They have waaaay more compute power than they can handle.

Workstation:  13700k @ 5.5Ghz || Gigabyte Z790 Ultra || MSI Gaming Trio 4090 Shunt || TeamGroup DDR5-7800 @ 7000 || Corsair AX1500i@240V || whole-house loop.
