That's just the user's side of things ... want me to list the admin side of things ? If so, do you have a few hours ? 😄

But seriously, it's not even about MS or Bill Gates (my guess is because of Gates' foundation work with vaccines) ... the real question is why do people believe in SciFi TV plot devices ? Tracking chips are barely a thing, RFID chip implants are the closest thing we have, they're the size of a grain of rice, and they're RFID, so it's passive and VERY short distance.

To get an active RFID, you need power and so it'll be much bigger. Also, as the name suggest, those are implants, meaning they can't be injected through a medium like a vaccine.

It still astonishing to me that in this day and age, where information is literally at your fingertip, that people can't be bothered to inform themselves properly.

      /rant

Still, I'll keep saying I'm getting my tracking shot ! 😄

Constant exposure to the lies and plots of the powerful.

Did the US government destroyed the world trade centre?

      Can vaccines cause autism?

If you lost trust in politics and traditional media those question can very easily be answered with yes. Combine this with the black box experiences of modern technology and SciFi sounds real.

Social media, entrepreneur's seeing it as a business opportunity, propaganda/hybrid warfare and inequality aren't the root cause but they are perfect amplification. I would say that it is (nearly) impossible to reach this population as they don't trust you anymore. Probably the only way to get to them would be infiltrating, building trust (to your fake identities) and somehow convince them it isn't like they believe.

  2. Yeah, it's been out for a while iirc. kinda dumb. But either way.. the best models are by far the ones with the cord you attach to your bike. Sure, you might pull it on accident.. but it's less dumb than those things that *also* have to detect the crash accurately..
  3. Competitive IS CS:GO. They make money with Prime status (buying the game VS FTP) and skins and Operations. What's annoying about this is that it was free in the last operation (Broken Fang) with Premier Mode. We can still play in PM, but the stats are now locked. While there are free alternatives, they are nowhere near as detailed.
  4. I can't help because of work & rma BUT WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE ?

(I don't actually care about your excuse, get back to work already)

I'd write it in Dutch but I don't speak it English tldr: Linux big man on YT but small influence on Intel sales.
  6. Excuse me since when do corporations have feelings ?
  7. Oh, I guess I'll go to the office..

They shutdown electricity in my street till 20:30 for.. something idk..

    Yay

  8. To put it simply: Yes. If I were you I'd try to get a bit faster ram (something like 3200MHz rather than 2400) but other than that this looks fine to me. The case seems to have enough meshing at the front for decent ventilation.
  9. Total cost of the pi tablet so far: roughly 250$.
    image.thumb.png.a53069d9cdcac9ede7d4585e25c4eed4.png

That's with the pi, the case, the switches.. the arduino, the nipple...
Oh and the SDR and eventually I'll have to add a bit more for the GSM module if I really want to add that. (Which is a neat feature, not a requirement..)

So far, still 99% off the shelf.

      It's a portable linux terminal.
Well, portable is a bit of a stretch considering how thick it is.. but this is Version 1.

You could have asked in your first reply rather than generating a reply that leads nowhere.

Why not... Use a terminal app on an iPad (iSH is a good one) and SSH into a linux environment?

edit: Ah you explain why later.

But then no Ethernet port, no usb port, no GPIO, no trackpoint, no GSM LTE, no software defined radio, shit performance for anything but a basic terminal.

Then please, don't bother replying at all.

So what you really want is a portable Pi you don't need to plug into an external monitor to tinker with, not just a tablet.

You haven't show any pictures yet, but if I may suggest, take note of the Kindle Oasis design.

Amazon says the Kindle Oasis is an e-reader for book lovers. Is it?

Put the batteries/Pi all on one side, and make the other part thin. It'll give you something to grab onto and make holding it a lot easier.

Actually I did in a previous post, it's quite thick at the moment since it's all off-the-shelf parts and no custom case.

I'm trying things as a "V1" for now.

So far it's more "rugged tablet" size 😅

  10. I suggest you take a look at this: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/PLjJ7P/benq-ex3501r-350-3440x1440-100hz-monitor-ex3501r It's what I'm waiting to buy (it comes on sale every so often) and I've seen it in action, it's honestly beautiful. (And comes pretty damn accurate out of the box) The downside is only 100hz FreeSync, not 120.
  11. I'm just glad this isn't an open poll where we'd end up with comic sans..
