1440p Build

Go to solution Solved by BentleyOwen123,

looks great! although go for a Phantom spirit cooler instead, its one of the best in the market, and is about the same price

edit: my dumbass keeps confusing usd with aud, it is NOT nearly the same price, the cooler you have is great haha sorry

Budget (including currency): $1700 AUD

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant Forza horizon 5 minecraft yugioh master duel cs 2

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

You should be able to get the 7500f with a b650 motherboard for the same, or slightly higher price, but this way you have an upgrade path in the future. You could also buy the 6700xt used, it has better perfomance, but costs less if used

Budget ($1000 US) is kinda flimsy for a 1440p build imo

I'd advise to either go 1080p or increasing the budget to A$2200, then you can get AM5 or better GPU

System : AMD R9 5900X / Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO/ 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18 ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Eisbaer 280mm AIO (with 2xArctic P14 fans) / 2TB Crucial T500  NVme + 2TB WD SN850 NVme + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD drives/ Corsair RM850x PSU/  Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

Your build is okay, can't get much better for the budget

AM4 may  allow you to get a better GPU, that's ok if you don't plan to upgrade until AM6... Now I really think you should get a 7700XT, A$100 more but 33% faster

System : AMD R9 5900X / Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO/ 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18 ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Eisbaer 280mm AIO (with 2xArctic P14 fans) / 2TB Crucial T500  NVme + 2TB WD SN850 NVme + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD drives/ Corsair RM850x PSU/  Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

It's okayish, but the GPU is weak for AAA type games
