LTT Official Folding Month 2019!!!

Go to solution Solved by GOTSpectrum,

Alright guys, the time for locking this thread has come, can you all please use the Folding Community Board for all further talk.

Thank you all again for participating in the event.

Once the sheet is cleaned up I will edit this post to add the link to the spreadsheet.

@TVwazhere Can you please lock this thread for me.

Just a heads up guys, but I just recovered from stuck work units on all 3 of my systems that I am running within the span of an hour apart, so keep a look out!  Hopefully it was a fluke, but we are making great progress, and we can't let a wave of stuck WU's stop us!

Just as the competition is ramping up. Temple Uni's servers are getting bogged down again.

So GeForce pushed a driver update that I think is related to Modern Warfare coming out.  It is either that or a weird WU but my PPD off the RTX 2070 Super went from 1.3M to 800k... Any ideas?

What work unit were you on? I know for a fact that on linux mine will vary from 1.6m ppd down to 1.2 on really poorly optimized WU's

It is true that the Navi based GPUs aren't supported, but it isn't a driver issue like they said to point the blame elsewhere.  The issue stems from the OpenMM library they use, as mentioned on the last couple pages of this thread.

According to folding forum posts issues with Navi GPUs lies with fah core 21, issues are probably fixed when core 22 is released. Currently it looks like they aren't going to patch core 21. So for now Navi owners have to wait for core 22 to be released.

I want them to display the message.

Due to a sudden influx in WU processing this month no more work units are available at this time.

I was playing The Outer Worlds for like 5-6 hours with frame rates around 50-60 at max everything on my 8086K/2060S when I realized I forgot to pause F@H. My FPS jumped up to 120-150.with 200+ in the indoor areas. Even after 17 hours of game time, I don't think my PPD suffered that much.

I have not gamed all month,  now you have me wondering what I could play and get away with in terms of PPD loss.

Nice.  I still need to download that game over on my Xbox One since it is on Game Pass.  How is the gameplay and story?  Keep hearing it is a mix of Fall Out, Borderlands, and Mass Effect.

1080ti @2037-2050mhz, 2x 1070ti's whos Mhz fluctuate but one usually runs in the 1900mhz range and the other in the 1800.

My current estimated PPD is 2.9M, though I can say it seems like every time I look, at least one of my cards is running a 14180 WU, which IIRC is a PPD killer. They're otherwise running 14196 WU's (currently both 1070ti's are using those and the estimated PPD for those is 1.7M. I've broken the 3m PPD barrier only twice. First time was becuase of the glitch a few weeks back where we were being given Points to correct some errors, and the other was just last night.

Edit:you can see where I fired up my 2nd VM with a 16 core vs just the 8 core running.

I did 16 cores on a local threadripper, then I stopped because I could not take the heat.

I'm running a 12 and an 8 core, don't think I'm clearing that many points but I did save 2 threads for feeding a gpu on one system and I'm not running my overclocks for room comfort. 700 to 800 watts of heat in this room is enough, it already gets comfortably warm
