Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

That Street Triple RS is stunning.

It's easily the best bike I've ridden. Absolutely love it, makes you wonder what would ever replace it at the end of its finance but something better always comes along.

Starting to plan my next build once/if our business gets a bit healthier; Choice is a RA28, TA22 (I've had one before: 4aGZE, 2TGUE, 2T) or Datsun 240z... opinions? the Datto's almost look something special:

TA22

I think the guy I sold my GZE TA22 to still has it, the only problems with the RA/TA was the steel was quite rust prone (Aus delivered model). A mate had a RA28 form his dad, they'd repainted it from bare metal 3-4 times and rust always formed on the same spots, even after treatment. They are definitely something special though. The 2TGUE I put in second sounded so nice with the twin solex's

I'm not a Yamaha guru, but honestly most motorcycles are pretty similar, so posting any issues you're working on out in the open might get some good responses.

god I want a Saab 9-7X Aero, I know it's a Trailblazer SS but it's a cooler Trailblazer SS because it's rare lol

Fucking tell me about it, those Saab trucks are dope as hell. Saab 900 owners cringe at the sight of anything that isn't a hipstermobile, and lemme tell ya, the 9-7X definitely doesn't fit that category like a 900 hatch with a stick does.

Added some additional fun to the garage last weekend! My 2003 Suzuki SV1000S has served me well for around six years, but felt it was time to get something newer. Picked up a 2020 Kawasaki Z900! I really like the naked sport bike category and this one certainly fits the bill!

Well yeah you hear them being swapped into a lot of chassis, but how often an FD? Given it uses a few Flyin Miata parts I imagine its fairly doable too.
