Dood it's great here. Rain all autumn, winter and most of spring - even a fair bit of rain during the summer!

***and hippies/hipsters cuz we have plenty of both***

 

EDIT: The speed limits here are super dumb BTW. 55 pretty much everywhere until you go extreme North or South.

MOAR EDIT: We have no sales tax.

People here can't drive anyways so it can't hurt :P

If you've ever been to (googling because you live in California and I'm trying to remember the name of the town) REDDING it's kinda similar-ish. Think that combined with San Fran.

I love Portland, lots of rich people, lots of different ethnicities and beliefs. The speed limit is 65 on I205 and I5 between West Linn and Salem Not very much crime and almost everyone is nice.

Well meeting Linus and Slick would be fun but more fun if we had a large group of others at some sort of celebration of Linus Tech Tips community.

Btw I am disappointed Linus and Slick and NCIXers didn't chime in to say they want to meet me.  The amount of talk we could have about PhysX.  Also you getting to see me in the flesh and see just how Physexy I am ..... lie .... :S.

Oh and hey maybe we could chop up a couch and chuck it off a balcony for fun.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Well, crime depends on where you live. There's def more near where my mom lives compared to my dad's place where it's just old people.

 

Also, the I5 hits 70 once you're into WA or super deep south Oregon. 

 

Road trips to California are the best when you get to travel all the way through Oregon lemme tell ya :)

Good that no-one would like to meet me in person. I'm boring, and kinda an asshole IRL, plus I'm a sort-of psycho, so it's actually better for everyone to keep their distance from me. And I'm so fugly you'd want to burn your eyes if you were to see me IRL.

Aren't you a little hard on yourself? If you can identify all these ´flaws´ in yourself, why don't you try to change them?

I know change isn't easy, but if it's a problem it might be needed.

Boring is also a very subjective term. I like to sit down and analyse arthouse movies in my free time. That is what most people call boring, but I find it fascinating

Most of the people that I would like to meet, live either in Texas or Sweden, so it might not be unrealistic to meet them.
