  1. so my first problem is my sli bridge is not detected, i tried putting the fingers on both sides, diagonally even, flipping it around, no dice, this was an sli bridge i took out of the packaging today but i wouldn't be surprised if it was bad since i don't know how long it's been in that packaging. i'm trying to use differentsliauto to run my 2x 970's together (different brands, sli bridge not detected) and i can't find nvlddmkm.sys in c:\windows\system32\drivers. the image shows where the file should be but isn't i have reinstalled my nvidia drivers countless times at this point and am currently on 411.63 because of all the different versions i was testing. i've tested 399.07, 411.63, 416.94, 417.35, 417.71, and 419.35, all using DDU each time. spec: 4790k gigabyte ga-z97x-gaming 3 1x gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 970 1x evga gtx 970 sc 4x4gb ddr3 1333 250 gb m.2 ssd 2 tb, 1tb, 500 gb hdd
  2. Hello 17 year old what are your specs now? Asking for myself because of that pinned post about old computer parts.

  3. I still use this and have been using it before this video even came out..
  4. as long as the card is not thermal throttling, the temperatures are safe. i just run my GPU fan at manual speed at 100% all of the time and wear headphones.

    Why tho?

why does the speedometer read 200 when i cAN ONLY SEE 24
  8. No luck, still just a blank screen.
  9. I got this screen once, went through setup, turned it off, tried to install GPU and RAM, wouldn't boot anymore.
  10. I sent the Gigabyte board back because it wouldn't boot, and now the MSI board is having problems.
  11. So I THINK my old Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 died, I sent it back to get replaced and bought a new MSI Z97 PC Mate to fill in its place. It turned on once after trying to troubleshoot the problems with it. I turned the PC without anything plugged in. When I got the PC to finally turn on, it gave me this message. I restarted the PC to see if it would work after setting it up, but it didn't turn on again. What it does is that it just turns on when I insert new hardware, shuts off, then turns on again. It then stays on and does not output to the screen. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Only got it to display once yesterday on onboard GPU, got it to display once today on my GT 620. specs: CPU - Intel Core i7-4790K Motherboard - read RAM - 4 x 4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz (tested in brother's PC, all sticks work) GPU - GTX 970 (in brother's PC right now, works) STORAGE - 120 GB Kingston V200, Seagate 1 TB, Seagate 2 TB, WD 500 GB (none were connected while trying to troubleshoot) PSU - CX600M (in brother's PC right now, works)

    EA Access...

I don't think the Origin EA Access would be connected to the Xbox Live EA Access, even if your accounts were linked. EA probably wouldn't allow that to happen anyways.
  13. What's your budget, $1000? Is there anything else you want to do besides gaming? I've bought used parts before off eBay and had no problems, but that can depend on who you buy from.
