    AORUS GeForce RTX Cards?

Mhmmm... That is a good point. I might just go EVGA then, and once my card eventually decides to crap out, get an RMA, flip the RMA card and get a new one. Thanks!

    AORUS GeForce RTX Cards?

I was looking around, I don't remember Zotac, but i don't think it was 5 for the cards i was looking at. EVGA Does have 3. Aorus has 3 but you can get an extra year for signing up. EDIT Zotac has a 5 year warranty, seemingly only in EU/USA? Not Canada

    AORUS GeForce RTX Cards?

Budget isn't too fixed, anywhere from 900 to 1600 Canadian Rupees. I specifically want the Aorus Models as they have the longest warranty (And that is something that I'll eventually need to use, apparently >.>) Thanks

    AORUS GeForce RTX Cards?

I'm in the market for a new GPU, I'm technically upgrading from a GTX 970. Looked around and saw the AORUS RTX cards but can't seem to find them anywhere... I'm assuming they're not released yet, any word on release/Canadian release?
  5. Hey guys, Boy has it been a while LOL I'm looking for some headphones that have a similar freq. Response to Apple Earpods and that won't put any pressure on your head (like the AKG M220s) Price would be under 100CAD, must be lightweight and must not put much pressure on your ears/head
  6. A friend has been posting some of her work on Instagram. Give her a like/follow if you like it :D

  7. I saw this earlier yesterday on their Twitter and forgot to dive in deeper as I didn't know whos working on Anthem. I find when studios loose devs to be a lot sadder than losing a celeb or someone similar... I wonder how this will affect the development of Anthem, hopefully, it can still keep going and be even better than ever Source: http://blog.bioware.com/2017/07/31/remembering-corey-gaspur/

  9. I haven't done this in a while, sooo bear with me while I get the hang of this again "Ads that appear in immersive VR environments can not only provide more effective impressions, they can also track whether the users have viewed them or have turned away their gaze. Accordingly, the multiplied effect of effective impressions and verified viewings will bring you higher advertising revenue!" HTC explains. Advertisers will only pay for ads after they've been viewed, according to Business Insider. Some of the formats they will use include loading scenes, 2D and 3D in-app placements, app recommendation banners, and big screen video. "Compared to ordinary ad impressions, ads that are seen by users in an immersive VR environment can not only meet the user’s needs by means of precise re-targeting, but can also be detected if they are viewed effectively by users," HTC states. "Therefore, promotion of your applications would have a much more effective impression, which not only arouses the attention of potential users and enhance the brand image but further attracts interested users directly to download your apps in the VR environment!" Soooo, It seems like in-game billboards will have actual ads that work now? That's an interesting way of monetizing that space But as mentioned in the article, these ads will only be implemented into games hosted on VivePort. Please note that Devs would have to Opt-in and implement SDKs to show ads in their games. As long as this is executed well, I reckon this would be kinda cool; Buuuuut, so far it doesn't seem like there's a big chance of that happening. Is Valve just showing their greed or am I not thinking deep enough into this? A new age of advertising is upon us folks. Seems like Valve/HTC is wanting to become the Google of the VR market? A Xbox 1 ???

I reckon a PS4 is a better choice as they're not going to be moving their games to PC anytime soon... But a Xbox One S would be a nice purchase if you want a plug and play entertainment box

    Odd monitor artifacting?

Yep, tried DP & DVI. Restart doesn't help.

    Odd monitor artifacting?

Yep. Artifacts from the moment it displays an image.

    Odd monitor artifacting?

I've finally bought a new monitor, a Asus P8258Q I was about to go to sleep, left to brush my teeth... And came back to this....... *Sigh* I'm not sure what could be causing it but it gets worse if you push the monitor from the bottom of the screen (Tilting it toward you) and the issue goes away if you tilt it upwards... I haven't had this issue before, it's not my graphics card as the artifacting would show up in a screenshot right...? I've tried different cables but it hasn't helped. It also happens during monitor boot and when using the OSD. Pictures below show the difference between pushing and pulling (lightly of course) and not touching it at all. Not touching: Pushing: and pulling (Which fixes it, as does tilting it too far back. I Somehow managed to fix it for a minute or two but the problem came back.... EDIT: Well then... touching the screen wasn't a good idea...
  14. so, you're getting your wallpapers in ltt videos now eh ?
