Well, here we go. Moving my PC up in the world from a Micro-ATX setup to a full ATX setup.

GUFfL.png

My capture setup is getting more verbose as time goes on, and by that, I mean I'm literally going to have two capture cards in my setup at all times once I get this... plus a sound card soon enough, to capture digital audio from a PS2. Priorities!

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Randomly saw a picture of this absolutely stunning beauty in early October and knew I had to get one. Two months of search later I already got it!

It's a limited edition, one of 1000, that was quickly sold out after it's launch in March this year. Bought it "used" and paid a premium over MSRP but totally worth it. Condition is top f-ing notch, not a single scratch, dude said he only used it like 5 times.

Any ideas what it is? ;)

Snagged Volume Alpha for a relatively low price and said "might as well" and also got volume beta. Favorite from Alpha is Subwoofer lullaby and fav from Beta is Moog City 2.

Well, some good news: my motherboard and case are arriving on Wednesday... hopefully.

That means that I'm buying something else for my PC slightly earlier than anticipated: a sound card for optical-in recording.

GViKJ.png

Why? Because I'm willing to waste $50 to get 48kHz digital audio out of the PlayStation 2.

Also, bonus scan of the Fantavision cover because I managed to remove enough of the sticker from it:

Just came in the mail: Corsair iCue 465X Black.

spacer.png

I'll be putting a 3700X in there (deal) in an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon Max WiFi with 32GB (2x16GB) G-Skill Trident-Z 3600CL17.
Storage will be 1TB Samsung 970 EVO (deal!) and 4TB WD Blue HDD, and it'll be powered by a Cooler Master MWE Gold 650W full modular.
Graphics cards aren't available, so I'll stick to my GTX 980 for now, and hopefully upgrade in the spring.

Looking forward to building this. 🙂

EDIT: Just opened up the back panel, and they gave me a Commander Pro unit with it! What the heck? That thing costs like 60 bucks!

IMG-20201208-WA0004.jpg

I'm only supposed to get the top one, the lighting node, and not even with a cover on it. It's supposed to be a bare part.
But instead they gave me a proper one, and strapped a massive control unit below it. That is a Commander Pro, right?
