I fell in love with the Honda NSX when I was 6 know Im 14 and tbh with you, its my dream car I know, many people will say get a supercar or a hypercar not a NSX but let me roam free with my dreams I will always love the NSX, they are hard to find and really expensive but one day, one day, I will get one, give it a widebody, rims, coil overs, rebuild the engine and give it a twin turbo and it will be mine till the end of time, someday.

Another quick question:

My car came with 175/65/R14 tyres can i go with bigger sidewall ? Like 185/65/R14.

As i understand things, tyres are a part of the suspension so a bigger sidewall would give me a tiny bit more ground clearance and a softer more cushioned ride.

Is my assumption correct ? What more details would you need to make sure i can fit bigger tyres ? I have a 2006 Daihatsu Sirion

https://tiresize.com/calculator/

compare sizes to see how much it will affect your speedometer and odometer, also a taller or shorter tire will affect the apparent total gearing of the car, a taller tire making gears longer with less torque and a shorter tire making the gears shorter with more torque. A taller tire will result in the speedo reading slower than actual speed and a shorter tire the speedo reading faster than actual speed.

195/60-14 would be the closest size but not if your wheels are too narrow to safely mount a 195 wide tire.

175/65R14 tires already have a pretty big sidewall as far as sidewalls go to be honest

Hello,

Does it make any sense to pump out the engine oil thru the dip stick and the coolant from the radiator and overflow tank ?
I don't have a garage or a drive way of my own and i park on the street. So i can not jack up the car and do the work properly.

I understand that is a hack and not the recommended way to do the job properly but will it help a little bit ? and maybe prolong my visits to the mechanic for an oil change and coolant flush.

I already have 2 pumps and i can use one for oil and one for coolant. As you understand i am taking baby steps to start doing basic maintenance on my car.

Thank you

Most likely a blown head gasket. A cylinder compression test will give an indication.

I changed the trans fluid on my Celica using a pump to suck it from the dip stick tube, I got about 75% of it out (some stays in the torque converter). For an engine you'll get about as much out as you would from draining it but depending where the filter is you may still need to get under the car. For coolant you need to drain from the bottom of the radiator and/or the engine to get a lot of it unless you can see to the bottom of the radiator from the cap, just sucking what little is in the bottle out won't do much good. Most cars hold around 2 gallons of coolant, even small ones.

The car burns a tiny bit of oil and i top it up about every 5 months maybe 1/4 of total capacity is missing ( i would be OK even if i did nothing ). So i though instead of topping up i would pump out the remaining oil replace it with new and take it to the mechanic after additional 5 month to drain the oil properly and change the filter. The filter is at the bottom of the engine and you have to go under the car to change it.

Depends how far you're driving in those months and the quality of filter you're using, if it has the capacity for that amount of an oil change interval then you're fine. Otherwise the filter should be changed when the oil is changed.

I take the car to the mechanic for oil and filter change about every 10 months

Again, depends on the distance. We have customers that drive 30,000 miles in 10 months and customers that drive 3,000 miles in 10 months. We have a 2017 Hyundai with 130,000 miles and a 2000 Jeep with 46,000 miles.
