Meet Milo. I found this little guy nine months ago one morning in the center concrete median of a busy four lane highway. A little beat up, but alive. I suspect he got up in a car during the night and fell out on the highway. He has since grown up to a beautiful companion. I'm told he is of the Snowshoe breed and a very expensive cat.
  3. The early Dell H2C cpu coolers actually worked with a slight added pressure when filled from the factory. Like an automobile cooling system, the system is sealed and holds a predetermined pressure so as to raise the boiling point of the antifreeze. So yes, pressurizing a liquid can affect thermal properties.
  4. I've always called them a patch chord.
  5. The term AUX (pronounced by many as OX) as in "Have you seen my aux chord?"
  6. Dell XPS 730X Windows 10 Pro Ver. 20H2 OS Build: 19042.928 I have come across an issue that when I install a blank DVD or CD, i am meet with a locked up system and a BSOD with the Stop Code message: Machine Check Exception. This happens with both of my two drives. I Checked the Device Manager for any conflicts or driver updates for my two drives, but no issues there. The drives also show up under the "This PC" tab as working properly. I also uninstalled the VLC Media Player app which didn't help. Using the VLC Media Player app, discs with media function
  7. I've been looking for an IDE hard drive for an older motherboard and am curious why they have such low gigabyte capacity compared to a SATA drive? Most I see start out in single digits and progress up into 20gb, 80gb, 160gb and up to 320gb tops. Are their storage capabilities different requiring less gigs?

Tell me about it.... My girl Gracie the Huntress...
  9. I've actually got the Ethernet and AGP cards that came with it. I think I still have the original IDE hard drive. Only missing the DDR.
  10. Yes, I'm located in Oklahoma. It's actually peaked my interest. I think I'm going to see if I can get it up and running first before I start separating parts off it. If I hit a wall or get bored with it, I will give you a shout.
  11. Trash can was not entirely correct. I do have one for electronics, but it does go to a recycler. Here's that motherboard made by MSI...
  12. I better go grab that MB outta the trash can then...
  13. So what to do with it? The motherboard it came out of lacks any SATA connections. Just worthless junk?
