Finally - After it had been sitting for so many years I'm finally able to get started on this.

I'm in no hurry to get it done (Long term project) and will take it one step at a time. Critical body issues (Floor pans and so on), then the mechanicals and finally the rest of the body work is the plan here.
Before I start it will have to be checked over to how much work is needed and if anything critical about the body is "Gone" and if so, I'll get the powertrain pulled and find another home for it.
Hopefully it's still in good enough shape I can work with it.

AHHHH! On the freeway last night I got hit with a speeding ticket. I was 1 km/h under the excessive speeding law, and my new CX 5 came REALLY close to going back to town on the back of a tow truck, and spending a week in impound.  Time to use that cool radar controlled cruise control and just stick to the speed limit!  The dang thing drives so smoothly that I actually had no idea that I was that far over the speed limit.  Quiet and smooth.

Well you can only drive one at a time!

 

Speaking of, I need to get off my butt and order the red calipers for my Celica and get that all swapped over, I have one original caliper left and it's been pulling a little under braking away from that side so I figured I'd do a fresh pair of front calipers and get the red powder coated ones from RockAuto this time. Not that I want red, I just don't want rust colored. Might see if someone offers black coated one, I kind of feel like red stock brakes are...poser territory even if the car is black and red.
