Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Was dropping stuff off for someone, the guy turned up in a lowered Jeep so had a wee laugh. Looked like a later model that someone had converted into a soft-top (Or they make them really bad?) with cheap mags. He asked if I knew anything about cars because the keys were stuck in the ignition lol. Then was able to drive off in my fully working Land Cruiser. Jeeps a such a wee joke.

I almost want to say jeeps are still the lowest cost method of going really far off road?

No, pretty much all manufacturers keep anything about that under wraps. Even DMs probably wouldn't have those numbers.

He wasn't going anywhere far lol. Straight on the phone looking at his car frustrated a good 10 minutes after I left. He's probably still there. That Jeep was straight trash, feel sorry for him because he was driving it up for a friend.

If its a 6.0 or 6.4, you can be happy that their headgasket/oil cooler/egr cooler will eventually grenade itself.

I can attest to this @bcredeur97 I drive a Fiat 500 Sport and when those trucks come in with their high beams on yikes. Big cars don't treat small ones so nicely : (. There was a G wagon about a car length and a half behind me in the right lane, I put my turn signal on and he immediately put the pedal to the floor forcing me back into my lane only to cut in front of me. He could've just gone behind me with all the space he had, don't know why he had to do what he did...
