It's a balancing act these days,  he openly mocked internet users after he killed NN,  That's the online equivalent of running through the LA bronx screaming racists slurs. Did he not expect something to happen?

It is not the public's place to publicly (publicly is the operative word here; you SHOULD release the information to the police if there is evidence of wrongdoing) reveal his information, even if it is incriminating. We are not the police; we do not have the right to take the punishment we think he deserves into our own hands. That is the responsibility of the court system; even if we think he's a terrible person, he deserves the right to be tried in court, just like anyone else, not be killed by some crazy who took advantage of the info released.

While I don't agree with his family paying for it, when a very well known figure makes a statement basically challenging/ mocking millions of people, did he think there would be no response?

Well, if the twats that doxxed him know where he lives, why don't they go outside to his house and tell him what they think of it?

While you are very correct, the extent to which it matters is questionable, and Ajit may have actually done us a favor by removing control of a precious resource from a few individuals and placing it into the hands of congress, even if the transition is risky or rocky.

It remains to be seen how much of the dump is accurate information anyway. To my knowledge neither Ajit Pai nor any other representative of the government has responded to this incident yet.

I guess this is Anonymous' way of going after Ajit Pai's jugular but I do agree that this action from Anonymous is wrong and will probably provoke Ajit Pai and the US government for some more serious anti-Net Neutrality sentiment and might take action against it like proposing legislation of nationwide Deep Packet Inspection just like China which I hope it doesn't happen.
