Australia right? Are prices reasonable for these used Civics there? My area/country is ridiculous for these Civics due to the tuner scene

yeah, Aus.

it's just a 2011 Civic VTi, not special badge, no type-R. just stock standard. i didn't get it to tune, There's not a big tuning scene in Aus so their price is about what you would expect

Got a Xiaomi Redmi Note 7

It normally costs $200 but I got it for $4 from my carrier. It's a heck of a deal even at $200. Has a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 64GB of eMMC flash storage, 4GB of RAM and runs Android Pie with MIUI 10 laid atop. Also has a notched 6.3" 1080p IPS LCD display and a 48MP 1/2" CMOS sensor that uses pixel pinning to basically act almost like a 12MP sensor on its rear camera module, aided by a depth sensor.

Yes, that box and name are familiar to another phone....

well I did a store pick up for a Steelseries QcK Heavy XXL today and got it on my way out of work after closing and also pictured is the monitor and speakers I posted a few days earlier.

The wallpaper is a macOS one because no matter what you feel about Apple, you have to admit. They have the best default wallpapers.

R-8SW.jpg.43ebdb45cfd66387fbb7701b69e15d69.jpg

Klipsch R-41PM speakers + Klipsch R-8SW subwoofer.  Bit of an upgrade from my Bose Companion 5 speakers.

I wanted to go 1 step up for both the speakers and the sub (R-51PM and R-10SW), but I got a killer deal on this particular combo that I couldn't get on the larger ones.

Can't comment on the sound quality yet, the speakers still need to be broken in and I currently have an ear infection so everything sounds muffled.  Oh, and I can't hook up the sub yet because neither the speakers or the sub came with the cable that connects them.

Also on order :

2m Oehlbach sub cable.

1738188694_Isolatingrubbers.jpg.8ff3863b2cd5926268a72bbc20950fbc.jpg

Soft isolating rubbers.  Even if they turn out to be snake oil in terms of sound quality, at least I won't have to worry about scratching my speakers or my desk.

I'm not going to be properly cable managing these speakers for now (or removing the Bose ones from my desk, for that matter).  I'll probably get me one of those electric sit-stand desks in the next couple of weeks.  Not going to waste 20 minutes messing with cable management now only to take it all apart again in a couple of weeks.

I'll probably post new pics of my complete setup once everything is here and set up properly.

Just picked these up today. Mozart's Complete Symphonies In an 11 disc box set.

IMG_0079.thumb.JPG.6a8a37054b969ba94656ac0aabf244ed.JPG

Now, the fun begins. I have to cut apart and scan the booklet, scan the backs of the CD sleeves, and the CDs themselves, then put the scans into a PDF (I'll put a copy of the PDF in each album folder). After that, I get to rip all 11 of the disks. After ripping them, I'll also need to put together a playlist that will play the symphonies in numerical order. They jump around on the CDs so fewer discs would be needed to hold them all (mutter, mutter, mumble, mumble). All that is going to be so much fun.

A week ago I went to Walmart to get some pants and thought I'd stop by the ammo counter. I noticed the 500 rnd box of Thunderbolt 22 LR for $14.99. I've read mixed reviews on it. For the price Walmart runs out of this ammo but there it is, all by its lonesome.

I bought it, WTH it's less than 3 cents a round. Couple of days later I shot it along with the other ammo I showed here. It shot good and haven't had a dud yet. I tossed one because it was bent. Yesterday I went to Walmart for grocery and stopped by the ammo counter and there's two of em. They were $16.99 this time but I bought one anyway.

So I bought a new Steelseries mousepad to go along my Logitech M705 mouse and K310 keyboard. This is the L version and it's pretty big but still not large enough to cover the whole desk so the keyboard is usually half on it, which is a little weird. But good mousepad overall. I'm also considering upgrading my keyboard because I type a lot, like 2000 words a day and knuckles tend to hurt at the end of the day.
