I'm really interested in getting used hardware and seeing how it still performs today. Such as old Core 2 Quads and Phenom IIs.(Just an example)

Lately I've really been working on my physical video game collection. I'm actually focusing less on PS3 and 360 games, and heavily focusing on Wii U first. I pick up 3DS, DS, and Wii games as I see deals.

Mainly just Nintendo exclusives, but I do play with the idea of going for a full set for Wii U.

Wii U collection: 6 Nintendo exclusives left.
  • Biography
I was born in Germany, grew up in Texas, live in North Dakota. Really isn't a whole life story, just a basic history... think of it as the CliffsNotes.

I have my desktop support certification through the University of Phoenix, and I flunked out of MSU and somehow ended up in law enforcement. I think I enjoy it too.

  1. Being a big Godzilla fan, and tokusatsu in general... yeah that fanbase is pretty fucking toxic if you don't agree with the general consensus. The Nintendo fanbase can be pretty bad, but it's mostly the fans who are never happy. They continue buying products, but will bitch even when they get exactly what they asked for, they'll bitch especially if they get even more than they asked for. The worst I've seen out of the big three is Sony fanboys though. Jesus. Otherwise, bad following, only one has made me hate something and that's undertale fans. Otherwise
  2. I want both but your poll doesn't give the option for that, so I didn't answer. I'm waiting for the eventual Halo edition Series X and the slim version of the PS5. I don't need an RV parked in my living room just to play God of War.
  3. It used to be something that performed good but still looked decent. Now it's performance all the way, in a sense. I save money where I can, but still get decent components. Do I need a 1000W PSU that's 80+ Gold? No, I'll step down, still a good PSU, but one I'm not overpaying on. Do I need a 1TB SSD? No, it'd be nice, but a 500GB SSD will do me fine. Do I need the latest Ryzen 9, or can I step down to a Ryzen 7, or maybe even last gen ryzen? I'll get a decent motherboard, not the best thing on the market, but I'll get the best, probably mid range, motherboard I can.
  4. My buddy got me into Yakuza. He gifted me 0 for christmas, lmao
  5. As @Cvet76stated earlier you have no idea what you're talking about. There was nothing for me to prove about the game because there's nothing to refute other than "sex." Which I stated that if you played through the game, or at least played longer, you'd see that's not the case. But since you must know: The game looks beautiful, the open world aspect of it is massive for what it is. The main storyline is a lot of fun, but the side quests themselves end up becoming stories of their own. The game is packed full of content that makes an amazing package. The voice acting is p
  6. Lmao good points. As for the sex scenes. There's some "story related ones" but you can skip those.
  7. The Witcher 3 is one of the greatest games of all time. Maybe I'm biased cause it's in my top five favorite games of all time. But I love the game. Cyberpunk 2077, underneath all the bugs, is a great game. How it released it's not that great, but once it's patched up, I have no doubt people will look at it as great also. It's just vogue to hate CDPR rn and everything they've ever touched. "Ohohoho, I don't just hate on Cyberpunk, look at how much personality I have! I hate The Witcher also! Look at me guys!" Either way I'm not worried about Cyberpunk, why? Because
  8. For Xbox I have a 360 and Xbox One S For Playstation I have a PS2, PSP, PS3, PS4, Vita. The 360 and One S work great I've had to replace both the PS2 and PSP already. Only Nintendo console ever to give me issues is my NES and Virtual Boy.
  9. Yeah, Switch games get updates all the time, and those are on cartridges. Splatoon 2 still gets regularly updated. I had to download an update for Age of Calamity. (for something more recent)
  10. Seafood is my favorite type of food. I eat all of it.
  11. I have a Jeep Renegade, specifically 2019 model year. I bought it new off the lot. I know that's typically not recommended, but I mean, I paid like $20,444. The used market around me at the time was super fucky, and this actually was the best deal I was able to get on a (new to me) vehicle with everything I wanted. (that being the bluetooth, heated seats, heated steering wheel, four wheel or all wheel drive, and a warranty, and reliability and decent gas mileage). My grandma has had her Renegade for years, and so has my coworker, and they've never had issues.
  12. Used furniture is the way to go. That's how I furnished a good chunk of my apartment. The only things I don't recommend used is mainly the bedframe and mattress. You never know if someone has bed bugs or something. Certain appliances I also don't recommend used, stuff mainly you cook/clean with. Like say a microwave or a vacuum, big notable examples. Otherwise, look at local furniture stores and thrift stores. Browse whatever France's equivalent of Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist is. I housed a good chunk of my apartment from the local furniture store alone. Got me a
  13. Completely up to you. Nintendo sells refurbished switches on their website for $260. But I'm pretty sure it's the older model and not the revision with better battery life. Otherwise, just go new. The joycons are nice for portable mode. I have smaller hands and my hands have never cramped up from handheld play. I use a bog standard Nintendo pro controller for when I'm playing docked. If you're also wanting the SNES feel, look at the 8Bit Do SN30 Pro
  14. Damn. My condolences to the friends and family of him. Hope Tyler rests in peace
